Stayed at the Hotel for a weekend in late September for a family wedding in Plymouth. I rang in advance to check details and was treated in a friendly and helpful way. On arrival we found a space which allowed my disabled wife to walk from our car into the Hotel and directly to our room on the lower ground floor which was helpful. We were greeted by the duty Manager Rachel who became a friendly helpful face throughout our weekend, going well beyond what was required of her duties for us. a Star. The room was good and clean and the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped with a substantial showeroom which two could use. My only cribs were a step up into the bathroom and the shower head would not tighten fully and you sometimes got a surprise hairwash! The Hotel was handy for the venue for our family wedding and very close to the Hoe and the Barbican for food and drink. The breakfast in the Hotel was very good, cooked to order and wide in range, staff very friendly. Best Hotel in some time!!!…
Very friendly and helpful staff, good room and excellent breakfast. Location is very good for walking the city and views from The Sound. parking available front and rear of hotel. The Barbican is 5-10 minutes walk.
Excellent, friendly hotel. Stayed here for a football match and was really pleased with the accommodations. The staff were really friendly and so helpful. Good facilities, free Wi-Fi, small bar, but a spacious lounge and they didn’t mind us ordering in food and gave us plates and cutlery. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back.
We spent two nights here while touring the area. Spacious room, great breakfast and helpful, nice people working there. It was easy to walk to Plymouth Hoe as well as the pedestrian street. Our tour guide had an easy time parking nearby to pick us up. We would stay there again.
Fantastic hotel with first class staff. Nothing was too much trouble, the team even set a TV up in the lounge to enable us the watch the Queen’s funeral. The hotel was very clean, our room was first class and nothing was too much trouble. All at a great price. Thank you
Great stay at the Imperial. Rooms were spotless, breakfast awesome and the staff made us feel extremely welcome. I'd recommend the location, seconds to the Hoe, The Barbican is less than 10 minutes and a short stroll to the shopping centres. For value for money, location and friendliness you cannot get much better
Really sweet and attentive staff. They are such a pleb bunch. The room is modest, yet charming, inviting, warm and incredibly comfortable. It's ideally situated in the sea (the hoe), making early morning walks before breakfast ideal. I really enjoyed my stay. Not a single bad thing to be said about this place. Highly recommend! *****
We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly loved it. The room was excellent, spacious and clean; the en-suite bathroom was modern and clean; breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice for every need and the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located, close the the main attractions and amenities.
My husband and I had a lovely bank holiday weekend stay at this hotel, we got a very warm welcome, the staff all helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean , good breakfast! And very good location for everything eg town, hoe and Barbican, we didn’t take the car as parking is first come first serve etc but once there we probably would have been fine as they have plenty of options eg Parking passes ( I still would like a definite space to book though
We had just an overnight stay on our way back from France and arrived late and a little tired. We were greeted warmly, helped us park the car, shown to our rooms and offered drinks. Our room was perfectly comfortable and spotless. Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning - served personally and piping hot. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a hotel stay with a personal touch.
