From the beginning to the end of our stay at this hotel we couldn’t fault it. Covid restrictions were carried out to the letter . Di met us with a warm and friendly welcome, showed us to our very clean and spacious room and explained everything we needed to know. As no restaurants were open, they very kindly allowed us to bring our takeaway back and eat it in the dining room and provided plates, cutlery and condiments. Breakfast was made to order by Louise, with several different choices including gluten-free , and it was very tasty and plentiful - there was even the option to have a grab and go breakfast! We were there for a very sad occasion and needed to be somewhere quite late in the day and they even allowed us to stay way past our checkout time. Which was very much appreciated. Thank you ladies. It’s very well located for the Barbican and the marina and fortunately the only thing we couldn’t say was good was the weather! Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.…
I have stopped at The Imperial three times now, it is in a great location, walking distance to the Hoe, the Barbican and the city centre. The Imperial is a lovely place to stay whilst in Plymouth, the staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is amazing, varied and plentiful. The Imperial is the only place I’ll be stopping in the next time I’m down to visit.
Stayed here before and the hotel is excellent. Had the landsend room which had its own entrance at the rear with direct access to free car park. Bedroom was spacious and clean with a separate hallway and large bathroom with walk in shower. As title says it’s best room ever in this price range. Owners are very nice and helpful and the breakfast was superb. Will definitely use again as property is 10 min walk from town centre and perfect if visiting you children at Plymouth university.
We have used the Imperial before as the location and facilities are ideal Everything about the Imperial is just great. We booked a 3 night stay as our son was passing out at HMS Raleigh, The room was really comfortable and just what we needed. Breakfast was 1st class and of excellent produce.
Last minute booking. Popped down to Plymouth, my home to town, to see family. Nice little find. (Chose it as it had parking) Warm welcome, nice clean room, with lots of space, on top floor. We enjoyed our breakfast each day. Variety of choice, food was fresh and tasty. Hotel generally COVID safe. Tip: book the village restaurant on the Barbican. Fantastic food!
