Overall hotel looking a bit tired in rooms, outside could do with painting etc but stayed here with family and we're pleasantly surprised. Staff very accommodating and friendly and helpful. Kids liked games room and swimming pool. Only had lunch there once and it was delicious with Generous portions. Particularly enjoyed evening entertainment, singer and bingo as we won! Would...

Curb appeal is not very good but if you look past that there is a large parking area that has to be managed because it easily gets filled. Good facilities for children to play outdoors and games room but pools need a tidy up although hotel is clean in all places I looked. Breakfast was good and english was served...

Stayed here for 4 nights , friendly staff ,tasty food ,indoor and outdoor pool, games room and well stocked bar, entertainment in the evening except a Wednesday where the nearby Babbacoome Theatre put on an excellent show. Single room was clean and adequate for my needs . Only slight negative is the décor which requires updating.

Arrived late May 2015, weekend stay. Was too busy to try amenities pool/restaurant etc. Cheerful, helpful staff. Delux room spacious, clean, comfy, lovely four poster bed. Downside key policy when not on premises (they ask you to hand key in) and locked doors late at night. Didn't spoil a lovely weekend. Free parking (as space is at a premium) and...

Fantastic holiday at the Cavendish. Lovely staff, Alison on reception was so helpful and friendly, the children loved her. Saturday entertainment was brilliant especially the mini disco with Charles & Alison. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be going back. Lovely family run business, well done to all of you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Reception staff were not the friendliest or most helpful considering they've been trying to 'drum up business'. Dark haired lady receptionist gave out attitude when I dared ask for a spare towel and the waitress who served us was just plain odd!?!? Shame as some staff were lovely but will not be returning. Indoor pool was closed due to a...

Stayed here in June, had a superior room, looked over the pool towards the sea on second floor, checking was fine, reception area has had a recent make over. The room was dated and bed worn (sagging mattress) as you walked in you hit your hip on a wardrobe and on your way our hit your knee on bedside cupboard,...
