we visited the morningside as we always do. This hotel is extremely clean the breakfast is top class and the owners anne, paul and jon paul treat u as part of the family, the staff are really friendly. We will go to this hotel every time we visit babbacombe which is usually twice a year.

Just visited the Morningside for lunch for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Pate with salad and mum had quiche with potatoes and salad and both dishes were great. Will definitely visit again. Good value too at £17 with two coffees.

Second stay here and won't be the last. The staff are very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The view at breakfast over the downs is the perfect start to the day. Cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast all available. The rooms are quiet and reasonably priced. Both my mum and I are looking forward to returning soon.

The location of this hotel is perfect in every way. The views are outstanding. Our room overlooked the bay front and the views were breathtaking. Terrific walking areas all along the beachfront. Close to all amenities. Hotel staff very friendly, lovely breakfast in a dining room overlooking the water, doesn't get any better. Wouldn't stay anywhere else and we will...
