We came here for a bank holiday weekend as it is dog friendly ,but we were blown away by the attention to detail around the place. Our cottage was exquisite with everything you could need for humans and puppies . Nespresso machine, fresh milk, biscuits and sloe gin for humans; dog bed, bowls and biscuits for pooches. The service was delightful ;nothing was...

My husband and I were recommended to have lunch here. We went today and were bitterly disappointed. While the setting is magnificent, the food was acceptable the service was diabolical. We will not be recommending to friends or going back in a hurry.

Dear Marlene P, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for us. It sounds like your experience yesterday was far below the usual standards that we achieve. Would it be possible for you to give me a call on 01803 327110 to discuss your experience in more detail with the hope that I can find a resolution for...

Just visited with my wife for our Silver Wedding anniversary. What a stunning location for a break. The hotel is full of character and the staff were excellent and always on hand. We were on the standard room but it was still a beautiful room. There were also Seals in the bay as a bonus. You get what you pay...

We only went here for lunch. Lovely steak pie and potato dauphinoise with fresh green vegetables. My hubby had lovely cod and chips with homemade tartaric sauce. The desserts was fantastic. White chocolate mousse with exquisite strawberries and dainty rounds of buttery shortbread. Mmm. . .

Fully equipped with huge TV ( only needed after dark), good furniture and huge bathroom with bather and separate shower. Plenty of complimentary room goodies including cold drinks and biscuits Staff friendly and willing -- Main gripe...

A stunning setting looking across Babbacombe Beach. We sat in the conservatory as it was a little chilly for outside but we still had great views. A gastropub menu which had a good choice of local fish. I had a lovely local Brixham crab sandwich! They also serve a good range of local ales, the Bays Topsail was very tasty!

Most reviews of this lovely place mention the view, the comfortable and spacious rooms and the wonderful location. However, the real USP of The Cary Arms has to be the staff all of whom were so friendly and helpful. I must make particular mention of Lewis who went out of his way to make my partner comfortable by reorganising the...

Wow! Wow! Wow! Just returned from 3 nights at this beautiful place with my other half and our puppy cavapoo Monty. Words cannot describe just how amazing it is. The staff seriously could not do enough for us - especially the general manager, the maitre de, the Canadian receptionist and our waitress Olivia! The rooms are light, airy with a...
