We just returned from a 3 night stay a the Cary Arms and stayed in the Fleet Admiral room. This room has great views of the Bay from two aspects and fortunately as the weather was fine we were able to sit & have coffee on the Balcony. Very clean and quiet our only criticism would be the shower which...

We booked this hotel mainly because it was listed as being dog friendly . The road down to the hotel is interesting a 30% hill with a couple of tight bends . But it's worth it this is a delightful hotel right next to the sea. The roof friendly room was spacious well equipped the bed was as good as...

We found the combination of a luxury room with dual aspect sea-views, large balcony and gastro pub dining to be a perfect mix. We were greeted by a smiling Lucy who efficiently checked us in and helped us take our bags to our room, checking we had everything we needed. Residential guests have a separate terrace overlooking the beach and...

This was our first visit to the Cary Arms but our friends had visited before. One of the main reasons for our choice was the fact that both the hotel and adjacent cottages have dog friendly options and of course the Cary Arms had a very good reputation. As there were 4 of us and 3 dogs we stayed in...

I live locally and have been here a few times lately to eat. The staff are really good and make you feel very welcome. I went with my mother and the food is a level above other local pubs. A meal here feels a bit special and the high level of service adds to that.

Beautiful rooms, fabulous food, excellent service and a stunning sea view location - what more could you ask for? Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the Cary Arms and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay; it was the perfect opportunity to recharge our batteries and spend quality time together. We will definitely be...

Whilst we didn't stay overnight, we held a small wedding party at the Cary Arms. The staff were first class and efficient, making us very welcome and attending to our every need. The food was also excellent. Fantastic location and a lovely relaxing place to visit and stay.

Another lovely weekend at the Cary Arms. It's the staff who really make this place so special - and the location! We had booked a 'dog friendly' room but decided to upgrade to a cottage on arrival. (Pebble Cottage is extremely comfortable however the sitting room doesn't have the views over the bay that the guest rooms (in the main...

Good food, stunning setting but not too hot on customer care. Food is definitely a bit pricey but someone has to pay the Business Tax. Nervous drivers might be advised to leave their car at the top and travel down by funicular railway as the road access is very steep.

This was our first visit but will certainly not be our last. We received a lovely welcome from all the staff. Our accommodation was better than we could have expected, so nice to find things virtually perfect. Only one thing could have been improved we found the tables at breakfast just a bit small, but this is nit picking!
