Stayed as a couple for 3 nights at The Marstan over the Easter weekend in a compact double. Room : The room is advertised as compact double but was a perfectly good size for us with a small annexe which contained a large wardrobe, chest of drawers and bunk beds. Ian and Craig are great hosts and give an amazing welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding, the bedroom and bathroom were really spacious and very comfortable. The hot tub and bar were great extras. Would definitely recommend and plan to return. Thank you for making our weekend great.

Stayed 4 nights, made to feel at home immediately from the warm welcome from both Ian and Craig. Lovely clean room, fantastic breakfast, excellent quiet location. Definately stay again and would highly recommend to all looking for a break in Torquay. Thank you to everyone at the Marstan and not forgetting Harvey.

Just got back today from a 4 night stay leading up to Easter with my other half. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Comfortable clean room with a very nice comfy bed. Hosts Ian and Craig were superb. We stayed at the marston for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Ian and Craig were the best hosts and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was first class. The room was lovely and clean. We had no complaints and would recommend the Marstan to antibody. Me and the wife will be returning

Me and my sister were completely amazed by the hospitality of Craig and Ian from start to finish. We went for a long weekend for my birthday. On entrance we were given a complementary tea or coffee. Myself and my wife stayed here for two nights, a perfect romantic retreat. Craig and Ian are excellant hosts and give a personal, proffessional and polite stay. We came down to Torquay on Friday 24th March for my 21st celebrations with my mum and aunty, amazing place to stay! Craige and Ian are lovely and we even had some piano songs played to us, will definitely be coming here again!!

Excellent place to stay.Warm and welcoming hosts.Fantastic breakfast choices and beautiful rooms. Nothing was too much trouble and Harvey the rescue dog was a delight. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful break away.

The Marstan Hotel is an elegant mid-Victorian Villa peacefully located along Meadfoot Sea Road in a conservation area. The harbour and town are approximately ten minutes walk with the blue flag awarded Meadfoot Beach and its stunning views being less than five minutes on foot. An extensive refurbishment program saw The Marstan achieve a five-star guesthouse rating in 2007. In keeping with the period of the building, the hotel is traditionally furnished with antiques complemented with modern amenities such as contemporary bathrooms, flat screen televisions, wifi and ipod docking stations.
