Due to a family bereavement we wanted to not be at home this Christmas, on friends recommendation we went to the Headland. On arrival the staff were great, they offer to move mums room as she can't manage the stairs so she ended up in 116 which had a great view and was a nice room. We were in 137...

Food was lovely. We booked a romantic 2 day break and an extra night which included a bottle of Cava in the room, a cream tea for 2 and complimentary news papers (though we were charged for the news papers so not quite complimentary) Staff in the dining room were excellent and very efficient considering there were additional parties going...

We had a weekend stay at the Headland. It's the first time we have stayed here but won't be our last. The decor is of the best tasteful quality; the view from our room was amazing; the food was delicious with lots of choice; the staff were always friendly and helpful. The negatives - absolutely none! Cannot recommend this hotel...

Very warm welcome. Excellent service from everyone. Food delicious apart from the vegetarian option. Stunning location and all enjoyed in glorious Devon sunshine. We will be back! Thank you to all the Headland team for making it a special occasion.

The rooms were very hot, well appointed and spotless with crisp white bedlinen and fluffy towels. Our first evening meal was awful. Six of our group of eight chose lamb and it was not pink or...

Second visit to this hotel, and the standard has not slipped. Excellent food and staff, waitresses and waiters always busy but always smiling. Our waitress was Renata and she was always so friendly and patient! I had room 127, which was down one flight of stairs. It overlooked the garden and the sea, it was a single room, but plenty...

We have very great friends that have been coming to this Hotel for many years and we have been unable until now to join their kind invitation. When making my booking there was a chance that my son may have been deployed with the Army and the receptionist at the time Harriet was most supportive and understanding of my position....

The hotel is excellent with clean rooms and superb six course meals served by very helpful staff. Throughout our five day stay the lift was broken with a sign that an engineer had been called. I see from previous reviews that this is not the first time, elderly and infirm guests have been left without adequate lift service. During the...
