Stayed here for 3 nights in the Garden Suite at the beginning of April. It lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Superb facilities, great location, wonderful breakfasts and Peter's tips and knowledge of the local area were outstanding. Helen's cake in the afternoon was a truly fabulous treat, and we looked forward to returning each afternoon to see what...

This place is just simply the best in always. We arrived early and our room was ready. From the location to the tastefully decorated rooms, to the breakfast it is all very grand. We will definitely return.

My partner and I booked this for a quick over night stay at the end of our Easter holiday, and it has been perfect! Ideally located, just a short walk in to town but enough to be out of the way of any loud night life. The Somerville Suite was just fantastic, and the highlight was the roll top bath...

The best B&B we have stayed in. Attention to detail was incredible, easy to find, parking and amazing room with old comforts together with latest gadgets. Words cannot do enough justice to this place. Breakfast was amazing ! Room 1 loved it.

Went to Torquay for a birthday weekend and chose to stay here after reading the great reviews. Wow, we were not disappointed. I cannot fault the hospitality, the breakfast and of course the room. The fresh cakes were a great added touch. Perfect location and we had a lovely view from our room and the front. We will be back....

The breakfast is one of the best we have had anywhere and the afternoon complimentary cake delicious. We have always had a suite,...

I spent a couple of days at the Somerville at the end of March. I received 5star treatment from the outset. I travelled by train so Peter kindly collected me from the station. The check in area was welcoming with an amazing table designed by Mark Stoddart. Peter showed me to my room which was inviting with of plenty space....

The hotel is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of some great eating establishments. The huge breakfast available will set you up for the day. All in all a superb friendly hotel providing the "personal touch". Even the dog smiles.
