Dining in the restaurant really is an occasion not to be missed! superb fine dining in the evening with Italian, French and English inspired dishes, the menu changes daily using only the freshest produce while being reasonably priced. Menu is individually priced or Sunday lunch off peak from £16.95 per person for a three course lunch. Weather dependant our terrace is also open for breakfast and dining with sea views. Enjoy an aperitif from our classically styled licensed bar, or freshly baked warm scones and dollops of clotted cream in the secluded landscaped garden. We have stayed a 2 night , half board stay at this stunning, tranquil hotel. It was superb. Our Room (room 3) , was very comfortable, and stylish and overlooked the lovely garden and further to the sea. The food was incredible. Breakfast has so many choices and dinner was supreme. The staff are discrete and so helpful. I really worry about over telling you about the great things about this place for fear of not being able to get a space to book by it's popularity. As a research nurse who worked on Covid treatment trials and looking after sick folks, I need a break. I got it here . I want to come back and have some more please. Huge Thanks. xxx Stephen & Alexandra

We found all the staff to be very helpful & friendly. The hotel itself was very well kept - beautifully maintained. Now on to the food - this was superb, whether you were taking breakfast or the lovely evening meal. It was all thoughtfully presented and very tasty. The attention to detail when it came to choices on the menu were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Second time at this hotel and every bit as good as previous visit 2 years ago. Location is good, 15 minutes walk downhill to Torquay Harbour or bus available from outside hotel. Hotel was excellent with nice clean room with all necessary facilities. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Everything cooked and presented perfectly and really varied menus to suit all tastes, a real quality dining experience. Look forward to hopefully returning before too long.
