A slightly dated hotel but the staff more than made up for that. The waiting staff were absolutely fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for them, particularly Nicky and of course her husband.. The location of the hotel is quite challenging particularly for elderly people but the gardens are lovely and I am sure we would have had a different...

We stayed at The Balmoral on a Buy A Gift voucher. The hotel's position is very good with the beach a stone's throw away. The garden of the hotel was lovely with the sunny patio which we were able to make use of for a couple of hours. I understand the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment and the main lounge...

Great hotel with a stunning beach nearby. The staff and food was great, the garden a haven for relaxing, All in all a very nice place to stay. Only let down was the room. creaking floorboards, the kettle could not be filled under the basin tap. the toilet/shower was too small and cramped and there was litter under the beds....

Just had another return visit to The Hotel Balmoral. Always a joy to return. Lovely quiet hotel, great food and second to none service from all the team. The evening meal each night was great as was the breakfast. I wish every hotel was like this.

Lovely views from the hotel - worth paying extra to upgrade to a sea view room. Parking is available and the garden is stunning. Attentive, friendly staff, delicious food - worth paying for the 5-course evening meal and breakfast was great! Nice bar and lounge area. Quite a walk to and from town but there is a bus stop just...
