We stayed at the Beverley hotel in Torquay for a week in August 2016 and we really enjoyed the town and the surrounding areas. The breakfast in the hotel was quite good with a reasonable selection and the proprietors Maureen and Dave were friendly and helpful. The only complaints we had were the size of the bedroom, which was very... More

The Beverley hotel is a small family run business , where the aim is customer satisfaction. We stayed there for 5 nights and the stay was by far more comfortable than a hotel of a large chain . The breakfast was just what we needed in the morning to get us through the morning (and the day). The owners went... More

I stayed with Maureen and Dave for 6 days as I was training for a job in Torquay, and I can honestly say without a doubt they are the most attentive and welcoming people I have every stayed with (that's including some relatives!). Perfect location from the beach and town, about a 10 minute walk with a scenic option! My... More

I stayed here with my wife and 2 older children for a weekend. The hotel was very clean in all areas and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room and it was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was clean. Breakfast was very good a prepared freshly. Well done 5... More

We like to highlight the good points as well as the not so good. On arrival we couldn't find anywhere to park ( would be helpful to high light that it around the back) Dave who came around to meet us, was polite and nothing was to much trouble, however we do feel that he is a little awkward with... We stayed here when visiting family nearby. It was one of the few places left with beds, and we needed to be able to have three adults in one room (although in the event only two of us slept there). The hotel is a - well I think Regency, but I'm not expert on these things - building, about a... More

Old style hotel but price reflects what you get. Situated in convenient location within walking distance of town centre, restaurants etc. Comfortable enough for overnight stay. Friendly people run the hotel and are helpful with local information. Good place if looking for budget stay and not too fussed about room quality.
