We are a small family run B&B, located in the heart of Boscombe, just a short walk from the cliff-top, sandy beaches, the O2 Academy, Shelley Manor Theatre and the Vitality football stadium. Bournemouth town centre, gardens, pier and Oceanarium are only 10 minutes by car, land train or public bus or, if you prefer, a nice 45 minute walk along the beach promenade. With only 4 rooms, our aim is to focus on the personal touch and provide a slice of home, with our spacious rooms that all maintain the traditional high ceilings of properties from the 19th Century and many original features. Just spent a lovely weekend at this fantastic hotel. Hosts Matt and Mel excellent, very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation immaculate with lovely little touches- body shop gel/shampoo, fridge on landing offering fresh milk and Mel even contacted us on our journey to advise us on busy traffic and restaurants in Bournemouth. Superb choice of breakfast, excellently cooked and good quality. Highly recommend this hotel, Barbara and Malc Smith

Stayed for 2 nights and couldn't fault it, recieved a warm welcome on arrival loads of advice on local places to eat, good location for stroll alobg the beach and great breakfast in the morning room was well maintained highly recomended.

Booked after reading brilliant reviews and so glad we did… they were all right! Matt and Mel couldn’t be better hosts, welcoming , friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable and immaculate. Great choice of breakfast which set us up for the day. Can only, like so many others, highly recommend.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. Amazing breakfast ! Great location for Boscombe and Bournemouth. Matt and Mel couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Great local knowledge also helped with local attractions and sites. I will be booking my repeat visit for next year 😀

We stayed in the Purbeck room for 2 nights at the beginning of the recent heatwave. The room (with king size bed) was spotlessly clean, overlooked the garden and was cool and quiet. En-suite shower room while small, was just right for the two of us, The Bodyshop shower gel and shampoo were a lovely touch. Tea and coffee facilities with the bonus of fresh milk from the fridge on the landing - how I hate those small containers of UHT milk. A huge choice for breakfast, good quality products, all beautifully cooked. About a 10 minute walk to Boscombe pier/beach. Matt & Mel were lovely and really helpful providing useful tips about the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Clean room, comfortable beds with fresh crisp bed linen. Nice toiletries and good tea making facilities. Good choice of cereals and cooked breakfasts, perfectly cooked. Mel and Matt have it just right, excellent hosts. Will certainly recommend and look forward to staying there again. Thanks

We stayed in Corfe. Beautifully decorated to a high standard, bright and spacious room. Very comfortable bed and fully equipped ensuite bathroom. The finishing touches such as a built in light for the mirror in the bathroom (perfect light for applying make up by the way), a full length mirror and roomy dressing table, equipped with a heat protector stone for the hair straighteners was outstanding. Not to mention the fluffy towels and deluxe carpet. Access to a fridge with fresh milk for our rooms and being provided with bottles of water too was fantastic. The owners were so very accommodating and friendly too. Plenty of knowledge of the area, especially the eateries. The breakfast menu was also very varied and cooked to a very high standard. Just a shame that we were not staying for a few more nights, so we couldn't have sampled even more of the options.…
