Booked a last minute room with booking.com. No-one at reception when we turned up. The room we had was up in the roof. Tiny en-suite. No shower and a tiny bath with a sloping roof above it...I had to get out of the bath crouching down. Service was slow. Won't return.

Lovely hotel to stay especially if you like history. Clean rooms and nice breakfast. Stayed in the kings room and it was luxury. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Short walk to the seafront and only 20 minutes into town. We will come again.

Took my fiance here for her Birthday, the hotel hotel was brilliant and so was the staff. We had a Great meal which was well worth the value. They even gave us some information about the hotel and allowed us to take a look at the small museum of exhibits they have upstairs. Well worth a night out for a...

We booked afternoon tea for 3 of us. It was the most beautiful surroundings with a magnificent building. The receptionist was lovely, he was from abroad but his English was perfect. He was so kind, before our afternoon tea he took us on a full tour of the building showing us the room the King slept in, the secret window...

A really lovely hotel, steeped in history. I never had a suite, but rather their cheapest room at the very tope of the hotel, probably the old servants quarters. It was, however, a very pleasant experience, although the bathroom encouraged you to get out as soon as possible. Room was comfortable, WI-FI excellent and the breakfast, include in the price,...

We stayed at Langtry Manor for two nights over New Year with friends. We had a lovely welcome, and there was complementary coffee in the lounge. Our rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. There was a nice hospitality tray of tea coffee and water, plus good toiletries in the bathroom. We ate dinner in the hotel on New Years Eve. The...

We stayed in the Kings Room, a room you have to see to appreciate. Unfortunately we werent able to stay the night due to the fact our devil children can literally smell the fear on the childminder. However, after an afternoon of Xmas shopping I phoned the hotel and asked them to place champagne and chocolates in the room, they...

This hotel understands what running a hotel means. Guests first, second and always. No idea how much hard work it must be to achieve what they do - and that's the point! The pictures on the web make it look like it's on some country estate somewhere -it isn't, it's in a nice Bournemouth suburb. And all the better for...

very easy to find and a lovely welcome by the reception staff. Porter takes suitcases to the room whilst we are offered complimentary coffee/tea. We were shown to our room and noted a double bed (could easily have fitted in a kingsize and for the money, kind of expected one) was clean and comfortable though. Nice comlimentary tray of tea/coffee/hot...
