We had a great week at the end of January for a Bridge Week. There were 36 of us and the hotel was most accommodating for meals and the use of a dedicated room for playing in the evenings . The food was good and the service excellent.

We just keep coming back again and again because in our view there is nowhere else in Bournemouth to this Hotel on food, service standard and value for money. This time we stayed 4 nights to include the weekend and were never disappointed during our stay. It was also good to see familiar and friendly staff again.

This is just a reply to BGIRL79, regarding her stay. This persons comments might put people off booking to stay here, I quote "it is destined to failure". My wife and I stay at this hotel 4 times a year, and have done for quite a few year, and are not the only ones. Guests return year after year BECAUSE...

Wow we have had a fantastic short break in Bournemouth made even better by the hotel stay in the Collingwood Hotel. This hotel should be a 5* and not 3* as described as it was just so brilliant. Literally there was nothing to complain about, the room was clean and bright, the food was excellent and always served hot. The...

We have just returned from a four night stay at the Collingwood. This was a self organised coach trip for our rambling group. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the service was exellent and all the waiting on staff were very pleasant. The bedrooms all seemed to be of a good size and standard. The food was very...

We booked our car in for the car park and made our way to our room which was ready, we were on the top floor...

I am in Bournemouth for 1 or 2 nights every week for business purposes and have stayed at the Hotel Collingwood several times over the past year. Of all the hotels I've stayed in Bournemouth, it's my first choice and I invariably look for vacancies here before checking elsewhere. Single rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet, plenty of parking,...

Checked in, and registered our car for the car park. We where allocated our room upon arrival but had to wait half an hour which wasn't a problem, as we wanted to go shopping. Our room was spacious three beds but only two of us using the room. The menu consisted of several starters, always a soup, several mains and...
