We arrived early on Friday and decided to take a walk into Bournemouth whilst they were getting the room ready, when we got back we were given a lovely room overlooking the front with great views, but after a few minutes we heard running water?? Unfortunately the weather was extreme to say the least and rain was being blown in...

We stayed for a long weekend with 60 friends and family. The hotel took this in their stride, the food was excellent and the meal served for the banquet on Saturday night was particularly good. The service in the bars and restaurant for all of us was friendly and efficient. All the rooms were clean and comfortable and apart from...

This was our first stay at the Hermitage which was arranged as a family get together and to visit the Pavilion to see a specific act and perfectly located for there. Our Superior room was spacious with great wardrobe space along with a safe and small fridge which was a plus, as other hotels we stay at in Bournemouth do...

The room itself was a little small [No 419], but after moving some furniture around it was adequate. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom...

We stayed in the superior room which had everything we needed for a very comforting stay. The sea view was lovely to wake up to and the huge comfortable bed...

My husband and I 96 year old mum in law stayed for two nights. Both rooms had sea views, although our bed was a little small, the room and facilities were super. The food was lovely, the staff helpful and were very kind and polite to mum (who said she had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back again)...

We had a delightful second visit made special by the change of staff! Charles in the restaurant is a perfect host and the reception staff second to none. Location perfect for the beach and town. Breakfast plentiful and dinners delicious. Only prob was room was exceptionally hot and due to location of room we couldn't leave window open.
