just returned after 5 day coach break with shearings. wonderful garden view room with patio . The food was very good and tasty, entertainment fine, plus £25 in house spend per person,terrific. The position of the hotel is superb overlooking westcliff. Lots of complaints over the heating system, our room was very comfortable. Best shearings hotel we have ever been...

just got back, 5days spent in this hotel. paid for upgrade room had no heating and no hot water after 9hour journey which coach broke down (shearings) and then abadoned at warwick services waiting for another coach which was 45 mins late.given another room next day which also had no heating. in 1st room toilet was filthy a big ring...

work going on second floor which some of my party was on 8am til 5pm banging and drilling either side and across the hall,we had paid for standard plus s/v the sea view was fine standard plus it wasn't - but apart from that - we had a good time 52 in the party,which I book through shearings holidays each...

We went to the Savoy for 5 day's with Shearing's, I thought it would be nice but it was Really nice, Really Good Food, good entertainment, nice lounge area with free papers for your use, nice outlook, nice dining room, nice bedroom with shower, very helpful staff, near to the beach, has swimming pool, will go again next year.

Had a lovely weekend stay. Our rooms were nice and comfortable. There were some problems with the heating in the hotel, but these things happen, and they did get it all sorted. I did feel for the poor reception staff, with everyone complaining about the heating not working, but they were so kind and professional, when they must of felt...

We arrived on 7th. November expecting a nice stress less break. The weather was miserable and cold. There was a refurb going on in the hotel, so a zone for heating and hot water was isolated to enable work to be done.
