My wife & I booked a sandwich lunch and cream tea with a table on the terrace for the Bournemouth Air Display. On arrival at hotel at 11:00 we found out that the Air Display had just been cancelled owing to adverse weather conditions. The hotel responded professionally by allocating a table in the lounge for us to await developments,...

We visited the hotel for a family celebration and we all felt that the staff went out of their way to make our stay a success. We had half board accommodation with breakfast and a 3 course evening meal. There was a good choice on the menus, the food was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is very comfortable and...

A great hotel for going to the air festival. Plenty of parking spaces and free wifi. The view of the flying from the garden was very good and the in house commentary added to the enjoyment. We had a lovely 3 days with great meals and very good service. Jason and Paul behind the bar were lovely with their engaging...

This hotel has a 4 star rating, in reality it would scrape 3 at best. The hotel is extremely tired, and the room we stayed in (102) needs urgent attention. Even the carpet is uneven and wrinkled, the bed lumpy, no iron, the press didn't heat up, and on it goes...

Phoned them after walking out of another Bournemouth hotel and they couldn't have been more helpful. They were fairly busy because it was Air show week. Booked for one night but then decided to stay for the first day of the air show. The breakfast was lovely as was the dinner. We ordered sandwiches for an afternoon snack and they...

We booked two family rooms last week, everything was good, the staff were polite however one morning we decided to order breakfast in our room and to our shock and horror the toast had mould over it. The lady who came to our room to deal with our complaint, suggested it was only the brown bread which was mouldy, however...

Lovely hotel, very individual, great service and staff. Beds are comfiest I've ever slept in! Food is fantastic! Only criticism is its a bit hot, however I got a fan delivered to my room as soon as I asked for one. Lovely stay I would definitely recommend to people.

Visited here on the last evening of the Air Festival. Can honestly say at NO time did I feel valued or of any true interest. The staff ( the ones we encountered) were not English and their command of the language was basic. For the whole duration of our visits we didn't see one staff member smile. The actual drinks...

To be honest I thought the value for money wasn't there, whether it was a one off or not is besides the point. The staff were walking round like they weren't interested, from the offset the receptionist wasn't helpful at all either. Food was probably the saving grace of our visit was very nice and to a high standard how...

The hotel hosts a charity evening during the air festival. The staff and location is superb on the cliff top overlooking the bay where all the flying action is held. The food and drink are epic. A real piece of old England maintaining traditional standards in a changing world
