We stayed at the Royal Exeter Hotel in Bournemouth for two nights recently and were met with a very warm reception. We were unexpectedly upgraded from single to double rooms which was great. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided with quality cookie biscuits. The meals were lovely and breakfast was particularly good....

From arrival our experience was brilliant. Great check in staff an instant upgrade lift to upper floors. Good car parking. The Royal Exeter hotel is listed and has quirky furnishings that gives it a unique character. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. There is Live music Friday and Saturday nights and the cocktail bar 1812 is as good as it gets with cocktails well priced and the bar staff know what they are doing. Breakfast is a treat all freshly cooked to order...

If you want a nice, reasonably priced hotel convenient for the beach and town in Bournemouth, then this is the one for you. Bedrooms are quite large, and nicely furnished. Not lavish, but perfectly fine and clean. Bathrooms are good - ours had a shower but no bath. If that is an issue then specify a bath when you book....

My wife and I went for a Travel zoo special deal costing only £79. We stayed for a Sunday night, with a 3 course evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The room was extremely comfortable, with TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a partial sea view. The evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was...

Stayed here Feb 2017 for two night and received a warm welcome. Entrance to car park is very tricky and is right on a roundabout and pavement in front of the hotel and then you can miss the key entry box which is set well back from the barrier! The hotel itself is clean warm and welcoming and the room...
