Upgraded to a luxury room in this lovely old hotel. Very quiet at night, great big comfortable bed, slept very well. Buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to drink and eat. Parking was £10 for 24 hours so ideal to spend time shopping when we checked out, walking along the cliff garden paths down into town centre &...

Just spent two very enjoyable days as a retirement gift at the Durley Dean Hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient & professional. Breakfast in its comfortable, well decorated restaurant catered for everyone's taste with its wide comprehensive menu. The room & ensuite facilities were tastefully decorated and beautifully clean as was the entire hotel. It is situated within easy...

Just returned from a short break at the Durley Dean Hotel. It was my birthday and my husband thought it would be nice to get away. We arrived a little before 2:30pm but our room was ready anyway. We had a superior double room on the third floor. It was much larger than we expected. It was very clean, had...

We've just returned from our second two night break at this hotel and had a really enjoyable stay again. The staff are very helpful and nothing we asked was too much for them. The breakfast was delicious. If there was something on the menu that we couldn't see on display then we asked and received it e.g. Fresh fruit salad,...

Large party booked in advance. When we arrived, they seemed to have lost half the details. They were rude and unhelpful throughout the stay. Issues with no hot water, forced to move rooms halfway through stay. Manager did not have a customer service bone in her. Breakfast was nice through.

Good location. Limited and expensive parking - we were told there should be in the street parking for free, but we did not find any. Lovely large room, clean on the whole, but lots of dust on the head board, and other areas obviously hard to reach for cleaners. Toilet was continually running though out the night - this information...

When we arrived there was a misunderstanding of who we were and what we were doing there. Got that sorted and were handed robes and key for our spa day. When we got downstairs to the spa (which is a lot of stairs) we entered the changing rooms which were very small and anymore than 4 people would be a...

Went with my friend for a two night stay with treatments and spa. Very friendly, helpful staff, clean spa facitlities and not too busy when we went. Quite small changing rooms though, so probably not very much space when busy! Tasty breakfast. Free parking at the time we went. We upgraded to a larger twin room for a small fee...
