We just got back from our first trip to Bournemouth where we stayed at Balincourt hotel. It's owned and operated by a lovely couple who are very sweet and attentive. The room was spacious and very clean. The B&B is very lovely and charming. The cooked to order breakfast is fantastic! It's a bit away from central (20+ min walk...

Beautiful place to stay. Excellent room facilities. Could eat your food of the bathroom floor, that's how clean. Very impressed by the room. Huge bed and sofa to relax on. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit and full English. Highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise, a really charming hotel on the south coast where the aim seems to be to make your stay a pleasure. My room was a little tight but very nicely appointed, generously supplied and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Can't fault it. Its super clean, has a lovely lounge area which feels really homely. The wifi was good and worked in the room and the bar/lounge area. Breakfast was first rate and the location was really good for a walk to the beach. We got rained on when we got there, but...

We were visiting Bournemouth for a reunion and were recommended the Balincourt for its proximity to the town centre and beach, which is a bracing (in January) but an enjoyable walk away. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable and we were warmly welcomed by the owners Nigel & Alison for whom nothing was too much trouble. They kindly recommended...

Just spent 5 days over Xmas at this great quiet relaxing hotel. Top quality service, food, rooms, & thoughtful extras mean very well earned 5 star accommodation. The owners live on site & it was a pleasure to share their lovely home over the festive season. Balincourt evening dinners are bookable but not during Xmas/New Year as the owners do...

The first thing one wants in a hotel is cleanliness--and the Balincourt earns top marks in this category--our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. whoever does the cleaning deserves great credit. having lovely china cups in the room for tea and coffee--plus a regular replenishment of water bottles ensures that all the little and important things are taken care of....

The little touches in this hotel make such a difference, plenty of coffee and tea in your room, with a selection of biscuits and a couple of chocolates each. Complimentary bathroom items, a comfy bar/lounge and an additional tv room if you want to watch tv with friends/family. The breakfasts are excellent, plenty of choice, lovely hot caffetiere coffee along...

I have seldom been to a place that so completely exceeded my expectations. Alison and Nigel have created a travelers delight. Rooms: perfect. Food: perfect. Kindness and generosity: perfect. Arrangements: perfect. Location: perfect. They even arranged tours and taxis, if needed. Let's keep this quiet. It is almost too good to share. Looking forward to my next visit.
