The Bondi is a mid terrace house very close (2 mins Walking) to the Triangle and the Bournemouth Gay Scene. The rooms have en suite facilities which has reduced the size of the rooms so they are compact and bijou, we all want en suite so don't moan about the size of the rooms guys and girls, they could be...

Stayed here as a last minute retreat with a group of mates staying in city for a Stag weekend, glamorous chic and compact. Hostess was friendly open and honest enabling you to just 'be' whoever you feel you truly are xx

The Bondi has to be my discovery of the year. It is quite simply the nicest and most friendly guest house I have ever stayed in. The decor shrieks opulence at you the minute the front door is opened. The downstairs has been comppletely fitted out in an elegant Victorian/Edwardian style. The open fireplace has to be seen to be...

Finding a place to stay that will totally accept my 'Female' side, has always been fraught with danger! The Bondi was highly recommended by many of my friends on the 'scene' as a place that was not only tolerant, but went out of their way to be more supportive and friendly than any other place I've stayed in. Jan has...

Lovely hotel, like you've walked into someone's home. Staff were so friendly and kind. The only things that let down this place were the size of the room, slight difficulty with two people getting ready to go out. The shower was dreadful too, needs a power shower desperately. Great location and price and it was clean and contemporary plus free...

Dear Kilby. Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review of The Bondi. We appreciate your kind comments about us and our guesthouse. We do however take a couple of small issues to heart. The Bondi is a mid-terrace Victorian house and therefore the rooms tend to be of a comfortable size rather than overly spacious. By making...

We saw the scary reviews here, but they were in 2008 and the hotel has undergone renovation since then, plus we had recommendations in an Internet chat room so decided to give it a go for the New Year – we are not on the gay scene a lot and thought it would be nice to be mixing with other...

I stayed here with a friend who has booked a weekend away as a surprise. I guess I shouldn't compain because I didn't pay but it was a horrible place to stay. The whole house is VERY worn and tired and really old fashioned, it is like going to a bed and breakfast in 1978. We went down to breakfast...

having been looking for a gay place in Bournemouth for ages, I googled and found the bondi at www.thebondi.co.uk it is probably the most eye catching gay hotel site I have ever seen!!! I found it to be clean, tidy, very friendly and just like home. Unlike the last review, I found the ornaments added something nice to the place...
