Immaculate guesthouse, stayed for 3 nights during covid. Jane & Ged looked after us throughout with ideas and information on the local area. It was like having an in house tourist information board. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh and varied. Stayed at a lot of hotels and these guys have got it spot on. If we return to Bournemouth this is where we will be staying.

Can’t rate this place highly enough top marks all round. Jayne and Ged can’t do enough for you, breakfast is continental and lots too choose from there is also an option for a full English for an extra charge but all cooked fresh for you. The Amarillo is spotless and can’t find a fault with it. Jayne and Ged have good knowledge of the area and are more than happy to recommend places for you to go. There is parking on the front of the guest house but it’s first come first serve but there’s also street parking which is free. All the bedrooms are superbly decorated with most of them a theme to them and en-suite. Having found this fantastic place we are definitely coming back hopefully in the near future and would recommend it to all.

Jane and Ged are welcoming helpful hosts, lovely house, comfortable room, great breakfasts, we were even allowed to take breakfast snacks up to our tired pre-teen! A great base to explore Bournemouth and Poole, a short walk to the beach. They gave us great ideas for places to explore. Even took a recommended detour to the New Forest and the Motor Museum, it made the most of our break.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful boutique B & B. Where do I start to review something of excellence....well When you arrive you walk through a tropical paradise of plants that is illuminated by night, incredible and a lovely approach. Ged and Jane are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble, they are both friendly, approachable and have a wealth of knowledge about the area and where to go to make the most of your stay. The rooms are superb, a clever mixture of vintage and contemporary, very well designed down to the last detail. Breakfast is delicious, a wide variety, try one of Jane's specialties. I have travelled extensively throughout the UK over the years and stayed in many B & Bs but nothing compares to this little gem. We will be returning this year, that is if we can get in! Thank you Ged and Jane, you have got this spot on!

Have just spent three nights at this fabulous Boutique guest house. Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts, Jane and Jed. Varied and fresh breakfast buffet. Our room was en suite, comfortable and spotless. No hesitation in recommending the Amarillo.

Amarillo looked very nice in the pictures, but the real location was seriously beyond expectations. Jane & Ged were brilliant hosts. They helped with finding places of interest, restaurants, and locations. Going back, no question at all.

If you are looking for an amazing stay in Bournemouth look no further. Jane and Ged are fabulous hosts who not only make you feel welcome, their kindness and helpfulness is superb. The information Jane provided for us before our trip was invaluable. Their home, the stunning Amarillo, is just lovely, exceptionally clean and the tastefully quirky decor in the rooms, just gorgeous. The little touches really make you feel at home. The breakfast that they provide is exceptional. We feel exceptionally fortunate to have found this gem, won’t be forgetting our Platinum Jubilee trip. Simply stunning 🤩
