Our stay with Lindsay and Mark at their beautiful White Cottage really made our vacation in Dorset a very special one. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious independent suite overlooking the field and own small flock of sheep. Most appreciated the possibility of an early morning tea by having everything set up and ready for the kettle to boil. Our hosts... More

What a lovely, super comfortable room paired with a fantastic night's sleep! Wonderful hosts, eager to help wherever possible. I would recommend this B&B 100% and the full English breakfast was the best I've ever had, I will definitely be visiting again when working in the Midlands area..

Stayed for 3 days with my elderly mother as we were attending a family wedding at nearby Athelhampton House. Mark and Lindsay welcomed us most warmly and their excellent hospitality continued for every moment of our stay. We stayed in the twin room, with a full bathroom with shower all to ourselves. All very comfy and spotless. The breakfasts were... More

Returned this time with son, daughter in law and granddaughter aged 9 months. We had the suite and bedroom one so had loads of space! Lindsay and Mark couldn't do enough to make our week as comfortable as possible. As usual the breakfasts were scrummy and set us up for the day. Looking forward to going back already.

My wife and I stayed at the White Cottage for two nights, to do some sight-seeing in the Dorchester area, last week. There was plenty to do and see, and the weather was as good as it gets in the English summer. The White Cottage was an excellent base for us, being in the heart of the Dorset countryside in... More

The house is a real family home, they make you feel very welcome. Bed was extremely comfortable and bedroom very spacious with the bathroom just across the landing not an issue, the other bedroom is again spacious with its own self contained bathroom so there is no cross over. Breakfast - a vast choice of cereals, followed by fruit juice... More
