Great location, fantastic rooms, lovely staff, great value and friendly locals! The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed just so so comfortable, you couldn't help but have a good night sleep. The evening menu with specials had a really good variety and was well priced (and well cooked!). Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and we'll presented -...

Followed the sign from the main Dorchester road to this lovely English pub. Walked in to a smell of wood smoke from the fire and the sight of good ales and local dry cider on tap. We were en route to the coast so only stopped for a quick lunch but service and food (Paninis with chips and salad) was...

TIP: If staying overnight then the pub is closed from 1500 - 1730 hrs during the week so you are unable to book in to your room. Fortunately a sunny day so we were able to sit outside until someone arrived. It appears that this pub is in the process of being upgraded bit by bit. The exterior garden, sitting...

What a lovely find, staff really pleasant and friendly. We arrived quite late with two young children and we're welcomed. Food really good and special kids stuff cooked with no fuss. Service was great. Prices average. Would recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights in the 'James Brown' room in Hattie's House (the stable block). Arriving later on the Friday evening (8.30) a table had been thoughtfully reserved for our arrival, the carpark was full, but we managed to park on the road. The inn sits in the most gorgeous village, which unfortunately we didn't make the most of,...

We stayed here for two nights in half term. We had two rooms, both of which were very clean and not too cramped. The bathroom was well stocked with various bits and pieces in case you had forgotten to pack your own shower gel or shampoo. With respect to the pub itself, the beer is excellent and the staff are...

Just come back from a few days in Dorset staying for 3 nights at the greyhound inn. The room was lovely, very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Great value for money at £97 per night b&b and the evening meals menu was excellent. Breakfast was really good with the staff being very...

This is our second stay here and we would continue to go back. We arrived to be remembered by Mat and his team who were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a peaceful and leisurely lunch in the gardens and returned for an amazing evening meal. Our room was a good size clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was another excellent...
