Stayed a couple of nights after Christmas. Amberlea is close to the beach and walking distance to town, pubs and shops. We only had breakfast one morning which was nice enough, good selection of cereals, yogurts etc. along with a fry up. Room was clean and tidy as was the en-suite. I was happy to recommend to my friends who...

Stayed here for one night as we were going to a christening on the Sunday. The manager couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible even letting us keep the room for an extra day due to the late christening and us having nowhere to get changed. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, all in all a great...

I have stayed at Amberlea Guest House previously, both as a couple and on my own. I was pleased to be able to pay another visit this time. I was on my own again this time and had pre-booked the Single, en-suite Room for 3 nights. The Single Room is quite small, but is comfortable and very cosy and suits...

We had a warm welcome and shown to our room. It was clean and bright. We explained we had to leave before breakfast was served. They kindly offered us an earlier toast and cereal breakfast which we accepted. Very close to town centre and seafront.

Stayed for a night, it's clean tidy, quality bedding, right in the centre, parking, tea & biscuits, good breakfast (he's keen every one gets toast!) Probably should have slightly less furniture in the room but it was nice. Oh yeah and he catered for dairy allergies. Would happily stay again. Thanks!

Had a very pleasant one night stay at the Amberlea. On site parking was available at the rear of the property and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. Full English breakfast was lovely and was freshly cooked. All in all the Amberlea was a great family run B&B that ticked all...

Excellent place for a break. Clare and Martin made us feel welcome. A short walk to Swanage beach and town. Our room was very good and well presented. I would recommend Amberlea for short breaks and longer stays.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay very much indeed. Our room, at the back of the property, was spacious, clean and presentable and included a good en suite shower room. Breakfast was excellent with good fruit and cereal choices and excellent cooked food too. Just a short walk to the seafront and the town where there are a number of restaurants...

The guest house was well located, just a few hundred yards back from the beach. The room was a little small and was at the rear,no7. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very nice. The breakfast was probably the best I have ever had ,in either guest house or hotel. The parking was either at the front or...
