Three old school friends stayed here last weekend. Room for 3 at top perfect for 3 blokes. Accommodation very comfortable and well decorated . Hosts very friendly and helpful , even after leaving key at pub on first night !! It is only 10 mins from Alfriston , so you do need to borrow one of their torches laid on...

A friend and I came for the third or fourth time to Riverdale House for our two night stay while attending Glyndebourne Opera. It is a delight staying here: the view across the countryside is great, the position is peaceful surrounded by greenery and the scrambled eggs and bacon at breakfast a real treat. Cannot imagine a cup of tea...

Most important for us is the friendliness/helpfulness of B&B hosts, and Richard and Judy passed that test with flying colors. Not being aware of what a bad idea our plan to drive into Brighton on a bank holiday was, we will remain forever grateful for Richard's low-key suggestion that we "might" consider taking the train instead. We did and when...

Our family (my wife, two young sons and myself) stay at Richard and Judy's idyllic B&B when we visit my Nan in Brighton. The location is just beautiful and the "nothing is too much trouble" approach of Richard and Judy is brilliant. The accommodation is really comfortable and copes with a family of four easily. And the breakfasts are to...

We had a very pleasant stay during the last week of April 2016. We didn't know the area too well but Richard talked over our plans with us and had some good ideas for walks. The breakfasts were superb and rooms were spotlessly clean, we wished we could have stayed longer. We had a nice simple meal at The Rose...

This is really a little hotel disguised as a B&B. Our bedroom was lovely and very comfortable, as was the guests' sitting room. Breakfast was served in the pretty conservatory and was excellent. Wifi is a bit hit and miss but that's to be expected in the area. The owners could not have been more helpful with advice about where...
