Brighton is a great place and here you are right in the middle of all the action, The hotel couldn't be better situated if you like to sample the bars cafes and other venues of kemptown. It was a short walk (100m) to the beach, pier, and two short blocks from town center and very close to Bond street and...

We received a warm welcome and found everything we needed here & in a great location. It was clear that the owners and staff were interested that we enjoyed our stay and they try to make the very best of their facilities. The room, although a little basic and slightly rough around some edges, was spotlessly clean and the beds...

Me and my friend decided to travel from London for a short weekend in Brighton and we stayed at The Old Palace Guest House last weekend (Easter) and the experience was superb. On arrival Olga received us with her wonderful smile and she was so friendly , we felt like being home since the moment we got there. We asked...

Apart from the fact that there was no parking and a rather shabby exterior of both properties, the rooms were spotless and cleaned each day, the staff very, very friendly. The breakfast was served in the guest house next door and, again, whilst shabby looking from the outside, the food was good and the service excellent. £60 a night for...

stayed on new year's eve and therefore expected it to be overpriced and slightly noisy. However, the room was quite unclean and the bathroom was shockingly small. We did not want to stay for breakfast due to the look of the guest house next door which was serving the breakfast. Walls are so thin we could hear the couple in...

We paid £60 for Thursday night and £90 for Friday night. At the Friday night rate, this guesthouse is very overpriced. We found this to be very noisy at night time but in fairness I should add that we were there over Halloween, which seemed to drive the residents of Brighton into some kind of alcoholic frenzy. We were allocated...

Both my friend and I are still in shock as to how we were treated at this establishment. We have travelled the world for the past 12 years for both work and pleasure and yet neither of us have ever experienced the madness and rudeness that is the 'old palace guest house'. We were adbrubtly woken by a member of...

Hello everyone, in the old palace I spent a few days of October, I can not write anything wrong, because the staffs are very nice and friendly, I had a clean room, very close to shops and events, lived in many guesthouses and I thing that the Old Palace is one of the better in the city, high standard, clean...
