Great location, friendly staff, amazing view, poor breakfast and horrible bathroom, see pictures. Fixing the bathroom would not be expensive. I hope they will be fixed so one day I could sincerely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We arrived at the hotel on Friday 14th, read the reviews online wasn't expecting it to be too much, but we wanted a cheap weekend away and we only booked the same week we left. When we arrived was shocked at how beautiful it was, didn't check in until 3pm and then our room was ready. Our room was on...

On arriving at this hotel the exterior looked very impressive, right on the sea front opposite Brighton pier.On entering you could tell it was an old building many parts looking tired but the reception staff were very nice,we were put on the 3rd floor and our room was spacious and clean newly decorated I think, the food was hit and miss...

Horrible from start to finish. We were booked in to a family room, whilst the location seems to be ideal, right on the seafront, next to the pier, from the minute I walked in I had misgivings. The place is filthy and in poor repair. Our room had broken lamp shades, inches of dust on and under the radiator, chairs...

We got what we thought was a good deal for a last minute Good Friday stay for a family room with a cot for our 1 year old. The room was dated as we pretty much expected but we didn't expect a few other things... We were on the top floor but didn't have conventional windows - you know, the...

We chose this hotel as it had last minute availability for a Good Friday stayover. We went for location and you really could not be more central right opposite the pier. The rest of it was grim: - Walking to our room there was lots of litter on the corridors, empty bottles everywhere not collected by staff - Entering room,...

It's a cheap and cheerful hotel ,but don't be put off going there ,breakfast is good ,but the evening meals are not quite so good ,also a lot of noise especially at weekends,we were on the top floor which was quite a hike ,not for old people as there is only one small lift ,bar prices are a little dear...

Booked through Booking.com on a Friday night. Checked in to Room 4 at around 8pm. Vile. The Toilet and drinks tray had recent, gloopy stains on them, the floor was covered in grot (as well as there being a massive scrunched up tissue) and the ceiling was mouldy. It was also FREEZING. Asked reception to sort the room whilst I...

Rude and unpleasant staff working here. Had to be moved to 3 rooms. The first one had a blood stain on the floor that was wet! And a horrible smell. The 2nd one had a bad smell, broken toilet seat and broken headboard. The 3rd room was adequate but still had a broken toilet seat and the sheets did not...
