We spent 3 days at this lovely hotel during the coronation weekend and left on the Bank Holiday Monday. Beautiful location, seafront and our room was amazing, with a fantastic seaview. We were three but were in a 4 beds room, with 2 single beds in a separate section which gave that extra privacy, on the first floor. The sea facing side of the room had 3 big size windows overlooking the sea. The side where the 2 single beds were, overlooked a side road, a massive apartment building but you could still see the sea. The bathroom was large with a bath and strong shower hose. The water could get boiling hot so careful mixing needed. Really beautiful room. The staff were all so lovely particularly Jamie M. the manager. Breakfast was included in the price, it was abundant, various options, we had the standard English breakfast and the vegetarian version, toast, butter, margarine, marmalade and juices were available on a self serve basis. Staff were attentive and nice. Perfect location for restaurants and bars on the seafront but also, one road away, there were a  variety of cuisines. If back in Brighton, we will definitely return to this hotel.

We had a warm welcome from the reception. Our view from our room was amazing! The bed was really comfortable and it was nice and quiet as we were on the top floor! Everything was spotlessly clean and our breakfast was perfect! We will definitely be back again!

Myself, my daughter and grandaughter stayed in this hotel for 2 days and 1 night. We couldn't be more impressed. Room was so lovely and spacious as we booked the family room. We upgraded to a sea view and it defiantly was that. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. For example we needed more toilet roll and the receptionist bought it up to our room within 5 minutes. Beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast could not be faulted. Plenty of options and lovely and not when arrived. Would definitely book and stay here again

Dear Freedom781797, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a great night due to the noise coming from outside the hotel, unfortunately we can't control the traffic on the sea front and as we are approaching the summer the city tends to be busier and therefore noisier. We are glad that you found the reception staff to be polite, next time you are with us if you encounter any problem during your stay, do not hesitate to contact us as we are open 24/7 and our goal is to deliver the best experience to every guest. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future so please contact us directly to be given a returning guest discount among some other benefits.

Don't waste your money. Reception staff are rude and careless in the morning and evening. Postive: one breakfast staff member was very polite. Location was ok. Although so are all the other hotels around... We stayed one night and couldnt wait to leave....

My room had a window, tucked behind a pillar, you could only enjoy that "city view" if you climbed on the table and leaned towards window. Single bed was not dressed up at all with a throw or cushions, so although clean and comfortable, was not inviting. Breakfast was good and staff friendly, otherwise this would have only had two stars.

I booked (and paid £15) for balloons as a surprise for my daughters birthday and told 2 separate members of staff this was a surprise and when we checked in the member of staff said there were balloons in one of the rooms I said this was meant to be a surprise and she was giggling the whole time. I think she was maybe nervous, but it was very disappointing. They also said I owed £30 for bringing my dog (bearing in mind nothing is provided for the dog and u also have to sign a waiver to agree to pay £25 if the dog makes any mess) with me which was not stated at the time of booking (when I said I was bringing a dog) on the booking confirmation or on the email from the hotel advising of parking costs, breakfast costs etc. I spoke to the manager who was really helpful and sorted this out, it is a shame the other 2 members of staff weren’t as professional. The walls are SO thin in the hotel, u can hear everything, right down to people coughing and phone alarms going off. We had a blocked off door adjoining our room to another and luckily my daughter and her boyfriend were in that room as we were able to have a full conversation in a normal volume and clearly hear what they were watching on tv. Had it have been other guests on the other side of the wall it would have been very awkward! The rooms are very basic and the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. We were only staying the one night which we were pleased about as got very little sleep. The staff at breakfast were really lovely and friendly, but the breakfast itself of poor quality. There are much better options for better value near by. As we know, parking in Brighton is very expensive, BUT u can park for 24 hours in the lanes car parks or £32 in NCP (both near by) whereas the hotel charges £23 from check in (3pm) to check out (11am). The location of the hotel is very good, but overall there are much better options for your money.

Dear lucyth0ms0n, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. I'm sorry to hear that our reception team spoiled your daughter’s surprise, after investigating the situation I gathered that was our trainees and they laugh as they were nervous with the situation, as I am sure the manager on duty already done, I would also like to apologise for the inconvenience and assure you that we have also provided extra training to the trainees so this situation does not happen again. Regarding the extra costs, I can assure you that all the extras we provide such as, early check in, late check out and pet fees are advertised on every website we trade on. The pet fee is charged since the rooms need to be clean with special products after the pet's departure. We understand that parking in Brighton it's not only expensive but also difficult to find, the reason why we charge for the spaces is that we don't own a car park ourselves and to provided that facility to our guests we rent a limited number of spaces from a car park near by the hotel. We are also sorry that you have not enjoyed your room or the breakfast quality and hope you come to Brighton in the future and manage to find accommodation that suits your needs better while you are here.

Great rooms and the sea view room was lovely. Service was good at reception and staff were helpful with queries. A really friendly young girl in the restaurant area, she was attentive and really welcoming. It is a shame that the hotel is dog friendly but you are then restricted where you can have breakfast if your furry friend is with you, which has to be the case unless you eat separately. Was a little uncomfortable eating at the tables in the bar area as they aren’t the right height Comfortable stay however, thank you
