I stayed at the hotel whilst attend a conference up the road. I'd never been to Brighton before and had an open mind about accommodation. The hotel exterior was smart, the lobby, bar and restaurant facilities were all lovely and well finished. I had the impression that the premises was part way through a renovation as my room was far...

Booked this without much research and were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely seating areas, very helpful staff, comfortable beds but you need to remember that this is a very old building so some modern facilities are not so modern but add to the atmosphere. The lift said a maximum of 6 people or 450kg. I think it would be extremely difficult...

We have stayed here twice this year each time for one night only. However I doubt we will make it a third time. The first time the room was nice, it was a twin room at the side of the property. The bathroom was in good clean order & the room was comfortable. My only criticism was the noise level...

Dear Jen D, Standard double bedrooms are located at the back of the hotel, with no view. For glorious sea view please book front facing rooms. We do provide softer pillows and heaters on request, but I don't think you had contacted Reception for these. Brighton is a lively city and we in prime position with other businesses around us,...

We've stayed at The Old Ship may times over the years and always love coming back. First things first, yes, the building is very old and full of character and it has its quirks. It's true, staying anywhere along the seafront in Brighton is very noisy at night but the hotel provide earplugs and these work really effectively. Brighton is...

The room was fine, plenty of room and adequate shower. Very noisy late at night and early morning due to late night revellers, refuse collection and the like. Breakfast was good, lady in charge very nice. Nice to sit outside for a beer before heading off for the evening. Pleasant staff. Very central.

A great hotel on the Brighton Sea Front. Friendly and helpful staff, Clean well presented rooms, restaurants and Bar. Car parking was limited at the hotel but parked next door in The Lanes underground car park. A good stay, recommended for value and friendly helpful staff.
