Spent 3 nights at the old ship, in different rooms. That was my fault as i kept changing my plans. She's an old vessel with nooks and crannies. it is definitely worth paying extra for the sea view, deluxe rooms if you can as the smaller rooms are tres bijou. The place is full of character, the breakfast is very...

Very good hotel would rate it 3.5 to 4 star, good rooms, good value including bar and restaurants. Good size rooms. Provide parking and friendly service. Very central. Can walk to the lanes area, pier, Grand pavilion and numerous restaurants. Would recommend.

I checked in on the 23rd for a two night stay,no hot water for a shower so I checked a out a day early and booked in to the Hilton metropole, far better condition and a lot quieter and just a short walk to "funky beach" opposite the hotel, and just a short walk to the Churchill shopping mall

Dear terencejerrom Thank you for your review We did check your room after you posted onto our facebook page. When you had a shower you had the control locked into cold. When turned the other way water was fine. Kindest regards Paul Wright General Manager

Due to being let down with other arrangements we found ourselves without a room for the night at 8.30pm on a Saturday. The Old Ship Hotel rescued us. We paid £198 for a double standard room which is a bit expensive but in line with Brighton sea front location. The location was perfect with an NCP car park around the...

We had booked on line in April as a celebratory weekend for my 60th birthday. My wife was assured of 'a little surprise' in the room for my birthday. On our arrival - bearing in mind the hotel had no idea of the time of our arrival - there were 2 chocolate muffins on a plate with Happy Birthday written...

Delivered a training course at the hotel this week in the Tudor room. Nice size but a bit of a dungeon & the hotel garage entry buts up to the training room door. This means lots of noise and baggage traffic. Road works (hole digging) at the side of the hotel was also a pain. However the staff made every...

This hotel is okay. The room is small. The shower took a while to warm up. A tile in the bathroom fell from the wall which could have caused serious injury had this had happened during the night with no lights on.

Very nice staff. Nice big room with a (partial) sea view. Fantastic location near the pier in Brighton and right in front of the sea. Nice and big hotel. The bathroom could have been in better shape considering that it is a four-star hotel. Rather expensive but that is to be expected considering the location and that Brighton is an...
