We booked this only a few days ahead and were delighted when we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but inside is well maintained with all the mod cons. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious but the cocktails from their resident mixologist the previous evening were the real...

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary (in fact I'm sitting in the room writing this!) and overall the hotel is very nice. Short walk from the town centre, nice spacious room as very comfy bed. Followed by a tasty 2 course breakfast the next morning! My only criticism is the bathroom door, which is a frosted glass sliding door with...

The Oriental is a very sweet and stylish B&B, a couple of minutes walk from the seafront in the western end of town, towards Hove. We are regular visitors to Brighton and have stayed in a number of its hotels, and this is up there with the best. From the moment we arrived at the Oriental, we were met with...

Fantastic room, suited my friend and I perfectly! Very clean and provided everything needed for an overnight stay. Even though we were a two minute walk from the beach and the town it was lovely and quiet once in the room. Staff were very welcoming and I am sure if we needed any advice they would have been able to...

Had a fabulous one night stay, comfy well laid out twin room, superb breakfast and in excellent central location for shops, pubs and restaurants, all for a very reasonable cost- would highly recommend!

The oriental is decorated beautifully - quirky yet sophisticated, and with lots of little points of interest. Definitely cool, but not trying too hard and all the beautiful original features of the brighton townhouse still remain. Our room was also really lovely, homely and luxurious all at the same time, with lots of thoughtful touches that set this hotel apart...

We were down for a wedding on the Friday evening by that time 'The Oriental' had already contacted us twice on email to confirm booking and to ensure we had plenty of details on stay and advanced parking. I was also contacted before arrival that day by phone to be pleasantly greeted by Andrew offering us a suplimented upgrade to...

We booked fairly late for our 2 night midweek stay but I'm so glad we came across The Oriental. Non-corporate experiences can be hit and miss but not so with this little gem: Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious, tasefully furnished and immaculately clean with an excellent selection of Fair Trade and organic teas and coffee. Due to...

Just off the seafront, in a quiet residential Regency townhouse, but close enough to all the bustle and entertainment of Brighton. A calm and relaxed haven to return to after a busy day with attentive and helpful staff. Funky but not too quirky - good food and all the extras that you need for a comfortable trip
