Upon checking in the general manager was very helpful, I was just picking up the key to the room, then going to work and returning around 1am, However when 1am arrived I just wanted a hot shower and bed... I had to wait near 10 minutes for hot water.... and even then it was only warm water. There was no...

This hotel is on the seafront and is a great location for 'doing the town'. We were on the top floor and so did not notice the traffic and socialising noise. The shower was a bit of a dribble. Room good size, clean and well presented for a budget hotel.

I sporadically pop in here for lunch and a view of the sea, It is not as atmospheric as Legends Hotel and bar-but it has some nice gold art deco style columns and the food is very good-and they have a wonderful selection of wines and beers etc...They also have a large patio area with chairs and tables outside.

Stayed for the one night in a single room while down for the football. Good points far outwaying the bad ones. Shower wasn't the most powerful and bathroom area a little small but still manageable. On the upside the reception area (check in) and staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The bed was really comfy and room a pleasant temperature....

My friend and I shared a twin single room and it was perfect. The single beds are not together so you have a bit of privacy even though you are sharing. The bed was very comfortable .The walk in shower was flowing well and a good temperature. The room was nice and warm. Downstairs is a great bar with very friendly...

Real shame rooms nice but the heating was not on and the noise from the bar till the very early hours a real downside no sleep and given that very expensive The Hotel needs to decide what it is and focus on that

Just awful. What a shame, prominent sea front hotel with photos making this look as if it's something special but it really needs an update, it's screaming for it! As others have said it's way way WAY over priced. Go to a budget hotel and you sure will feel more comfortable. The room furniture and decor is awful, dated and...

For £82 you get a double room near the sea within easy walking distance of the town. So the rooms while clean, are basic and dated. The furniture and the bathroom especially, need to come a decade or so into the present, but I guess it would then cost more. And the staff are friendly as all the other reviews...

We stayed here for one night while we visited Brighton for a wedding. Our room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. There was no minibar in the room. The bathroom was very small and the shower was one of those showers which stand freely over the whole bathroom so when you shower the loo/sink get wet as...

Had a lovely stay at the Amsterdam hotel. Staff where very friendly and the room had tasteful decor. Only gripe was dirty windows and no frosted glass in bathroom. Meaning the poor person in the flat next door saw me having a shower and I must have scared the life out of him.
