This hotel is right on the seafront opposite the pier and very handy for bars, restaurants and wide variety of shops. We paid extra for a room with a balcony which had fantastic sea views however it was right above the bar which was open to the public and played very loud music until the early hours. Breakfast was included...

This was our first trip to Brighton and having looked at location, price, and parking we plumped for the Amsterdam Hotel. The first thing to note, as with most hotels in this area, is that on street parking is generally the cheapest option at £7.50 per 24 hour period. However as finding a space can be tricky I wouldn't recommend...

OK, there's an election on at the moment. But even so I was surprised to see a Tory poster in the window of the Amsterdam. Hotels and bars are public places, so most sensible owners keep their private opinions to themselves. And you might have thought that this would be especially true of a gay hotel, where many customers understandably...

We stayed here for its location the views and the price. The staff where all helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and the communal areas clean. The bar below wasn't that cheap but not overly priced, as im sure you paid for the view from the terraced area. Would visit again.

First stay here with my girlfriend, impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean too. The bed was really comfy but will say the room was a little small but cosy. Weren't too fussed about watching the TV but would have been nice had it been working (room 25) apart from that we both had a lovely time...

We stayed one night and this is not a hotel for a longer stay as the room for two adults was tiny. Though it should be said that we probably could have made an upgrade. This was not a priority because our plan was to catch the match between Brighton-Norwich at the day of arrival and depart for Lisbon the...

I booked two nights, before and after the Brighton Marathon 2015, paying full price, treating myself because I was going to need it! The staff were very friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. Genuinely nice people. So why such mixed feelings? Well on night one when I so badly needed a good night's sleep, there was what I can...

The hotel is in a great location with superb staff, (people make places and this place is made by the staff). No problems of any sort whole weekend, good, clean hotel. The hotel for us (as a straight couple worked), with its mixture of characters shall we say!! Great weekend and a pleasant surprise. We would recommend this hotel if...

I stayed here for a weekend in Brighton. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was a decent size, clean and had plenty of facilities such as free Wifi, wet room and iron. The beds were very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The only slight downside was there was some noise - but this...

Ideal location, perfect for Brighton's gay scene and a short walk away from the city centre with it's wide and excellent selection of restaurants, watering-holes, theatre and shopping. Hotel is very clean and comfortable and has clearly been redecorated/upgraded recently. Each and every member of staff was extremely pleasant, helpful, polite and did everything possible to ensure a pleasant stay....
