This hotel is in a good location (10 min drive from seafront) and has parking which is an excellent feature due to the fact that parking in Brighton is both costly and rare. It is a nice hotel although it is basic it does the job. The beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly and happy to help. The...

We stayed for our daughters graduation from Brighton Uni. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again, did not get a chance to sample the breakfast but it looked good. Would recommend.

I booked here for one night, it was excellent value for money. It is about a 30 mins walk to the seafront but a straight road all the way. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. They have a car park on site and there is a charge but it was only £5 for 24 hours which is excellent...

I've stayed in many travelodges over the years and this was the standard decor, bathroom etc. However I couldn't get over how big the room was - it was gigantic! Bus connections were excellent too. The bus stop into town is directly opposite and we even got a normal (I.e. not more expensive night bus) back after midnight. We got...

We stayed at this hotel for one night to enable us to see our grandson who is at the University, booking breakfast for the following morning. Due to the rail strike we had to take our grandson into London the following morning early to catch a flight he was booked onto. We explained to the receptionist that we would be...

Positives - clean room, comfortable beds, great central location with both easy access to it from the train station and to the seafront. Staff are friendly and helpful. Negatives - rooms were very very hot (fan was provided), we were sharing rooms but all provided double beds....told no twins in the hotel which I find a bit strange. Full of...

Room was large and clean. However condition of hotel was awful. Only 1 of 2 lifts working, corridors full of used bedding waiting to be removed. Chewing gum on the carpet, very small car park which was full by 5 pm every day and extremely limited parking nearby. Reception staff who wore leggings with no name badge made it difficult...

Bit of a way out of town but with free parking you can pay for a taxi and still save money as parking in Brighton is very expensive. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful Don't bother with the Travelodge breakfast

Positives •friendly staff •clean room •ideal location (30 min walk to the beach) Improvements •shower curtain sticks to you making it impossible to shower •duvet falls out of the cover due to no fastenings Overall The hotel was clean and pleasant, staff were friendly but seemed like they were just doing their job rather than being genuinely engaged. No major...

Stayed here with some friends for a long weekend. The hotel served its purpose of being a base very well with comfortable beds and rooms that were clean and tidy. Parking is fairly good, though not free for guests which is a shame, and it's within either a long walk or a short drive or bus trip of the sea...
