Hotel's Favourite
We love Brighton and visit 3-4 times a year, totally saddened that we have never come across Square Townhouse before. This place is amazing. So much so, I've already booked another stay for my hubbies birthday in March Rooms are cosy, very modern, and very clean. Love that you are able to top up your own bottles of water, which is readily available for guests. Great well stocked residents bar. Breakfast was delicious. Staff, very friendly. Perfect location, with great bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommend Square Townhouse.

I often read other trip advisor reviews before I deliver mine. It must be very hard work for any hotel to maintain a continuous 5 star rating, the pattern is clear, this hotel has very high standards. A very friendly welcome puts you at ease straight away, and throughout our stay the service did not waiver. Often my reviews will be relative to expectations when considering what it costs, hence the 4 stars not 5. Like many other comments on TA the room was spotless and the bed comfortable, however one evening the wind picked up and began rattling one of the sash windows in our room, annoying but easily solved by wedging a folded tissue in the gap, but I shouldn’t have to being doing this at 2 o’clock in the morning. It was also a bit on the chilly side in our sea view room especially in the morning but this may have been down to a heating problem that had just occurred because I happen to overhear another guest actually complaining and management trying to solve. Breakfast was to a high standard but not everything on the menu was available, my wife chose a smoothie on the first morning of our stay only to be told there were none available, the following morning a similar choice was made and again there were none, with a very good green grocers around the corner the little things like this can easily be solved for the following day, it would be better to omit these choices or announce that they are not available when presenting the breakfast menu. In my opinion it is usually all the little things which make the difference between a 5 and 4 when your paying hundreds a night. Great location, attentive and friendly staff, cleanliness of room second to none, just need to keep an eye on those little details.…

My daughters have just returned from a fabulous break at The Square and are already thinking about when they can go back. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and they felt very spoiled and looked after. Fabulous on all counts.

A gem of a hotel the place is so lovely and also so clean but what topped it was the staff so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, highly recommend having a cocktail from the bar and breakfast as well, we loved it and have re booked for November

What a lovely boutique hotel! This hotel is a real gem. It has quirky decor wonderful, wonderful staff. The bedroom we had was amazing. It was, to be fair on the small side, but really comfortable. To top it all, the breakfast was first class.

This is a stand-out place for good reason! From start to finish, an exceptional welcome awaits you here and is so well located, very close to Pier and easy to walk to Lanes and nearby attractions, many restaurants/cafes within the nearby area. James and Marcus and others (whose names I cannot remember - apologies!) were so friendly, welcoming and so helpful in providing recommendations for food places and where you could go. You must try the breakfast at least once - full and continental were both fantastic! The rooms are exceptionally clean, the quality of the place is superior, so comfortable and the room we stayed in has the deepest bath I have ever seen! We loved the place and when in Brighton again will most definitely stay here - highly recommended!

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights and had a delightful stay. Stunning hotel, immaculately clean, great location, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We are due to visit Brigton again next year and there is no doubt we will stay here again.
