Beautiful hotel, room, staff and location, made to feel really welcome and loved our stay there. Breakfast was lovely too! Thank you. We stayed in a beautiful room with lovely views. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff were kind, caring and friendly. Would recommend and would love to stay again.
The staff were great, could not have been more helpful. Breakfast really good, room clean. Great location too... but what makes it 5 Star is the staff!! They found out thst it was my birthday so I came back to find the bed covered on balloons with a nice card on top of a piccolo bottle of Prosecco. Really nice and thoughtful.
Solo stay for 1 night. When I arrived the hotel had upgraded me which was a nice touch. The room (indulgence) was spacious and bedding was spotless which is important. Heated pad on the bed as well was a nice touch. Shower was powerful, toilet well stocked, bed was comfy. Breakfast was at the sister hotel a couple of doors down and staff were very friendly. Reception also held my luggage after checkout as my train wasn't due yet. Just a couple of negatives but nothing huge. It was incredibly bad weather the night I stayed and the wind blows through the gaps in the windows but it's an older building so not their fault. The TV was very small so hard to see from the bed and it lost signal at about 7pm but again the weather was really awful. Probably the only 'issue' I had was the penthouse was directly above and you could hear every step and conversation going on. It wasn't too bad once they settled but they did enjoy walking around a lot.…
Very surprised this is described as a 4 star luxury boutique hotel with so many gushing reviews. Couldn’t fault the staff, receptionist, waitress and manager. They were super friendly, attentive and welcoming. However the property is a very tired and out dated B&B. Room was very small with poor quality furniture. Shower room is small but functional and clean on a surface level only. Room locks are very basic, making it not feel overly safe for solo guests, with no staff on duty at night. Breakfast is self serve with cooked and continental options and was adequate. Very central location, very close to pier and beach and 5 min walk to the lanes. I would say £60 per night would be the maximum charge for the standard of the property. Rather than the nearly double which was paid.…
Currently 5am in the morning. I’ve slept for around 30 minutes. Heavy bass could felt until around 3am. Then after finally getting to sleep someone banging down the front door at 4am. The basement room literally shaking, poor/no acoustic reduction material . No staff on site in the hotel which might have been any to resolve these issues earlier and maybe just very unlucky tonight, but what a travesty. At this time I just want to get the train home and avoid this hotel in the future. Travelling for business so this is not my money but if it was I would be more so incredibly disappointed. Nice rooms and great receptionist when I arrived but no sleep = a very unhappy customer!
Amazing value for money. Very friendly helpful receptionist. Huge room with great view. Comfy bed and pillows and breakfast which was at their sister hotel the Charm was lovely. The only negative I would say was the room was quite hot so had to open windows so slightly noisy in the morning. Other then that had a great stay and will definitely be going back.
We originally stayed here in June in the Eden Garden Suite with Hot Tub but there was a problem with the hot tub, and it started leaking after being in it for only ten minutes. The assistant manager Daniela dealt with the problem very quickly, by offering us use of the hot tub at their neighbouring hotel, gave us a free bottle of prosecco and booked us a free night back there in November. We visited again last weekend and had the most amazing break. Check in was very smooth and we were given an extra heater to help dry off our clothes as we were caught in the heavy rain. The room was spotless and the breakfast in our room was delicious. Thank you Sea Spray Hotel, hopefully we will be back again soon! ❤️
We stayed for one night and enjoyed the experience. The staff in the hotel were very professional and helpful. We were upgraded on arrival and our room was spacious with a sea view. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly ensuring we had everything we needed. My wife has back issues a did find the bed uncomfortable but overall we enjoyed the stay.
Had a good 2 night stay here, lovely room with view of pier, bed comfortable, plenty of tea/coffee etc . Excellent breakfast. Although only slight criticism is as your breakfast room is fairly small, when full as it was on our first day we had to wait in adjoining room for 20 minutes, could use this room to put in extra tables for breakfast, but it was worth waiting for and we will return.
Charming hotel, very well located and very clean. The room was cosy and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. Would definitely recommend it!
