Stayed here October half term, we had a spacious family room with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast hamper delivered to your room was a great hit with the kids, as we're the dvds on offer. Friendly owners gave us some good local tips. Great location. Love Brighton

Five is a B&B, not a hotel. The AA 4 star rating is also inapplicable: "Professional, uniformed staff respond to your needs or requests, and there usually are well-appointed public areas. The restaurant or dining room is open to residents and non-residents, and lunch is available in a designated eating area." The owners are very nice helpful people, the location... More

I decided to treat my boyfriend to a night away as a birthday treat and discovered this lovely B and B. Not far from the Pier, clean, warm, cosy. Lovely night's sleep, hot, rainfall shower and the most wonderful breakfast hamper brought to your room at an agreed time, warm toast, croissants, cereal, milk, orange juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit. Thank... More

My friend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend, after searching many hotels and many areas inside and outside of Kent. We settled for Brighton as its one of the most lively areas I've been to. Caroline was friendly on arrival and we were able to check in 2 hours before the allocated time slots so that was a... More

Spent three nights in this super quirky B&B in Brighton in August. The location is absolutely perfect, 5 minutes walk to the promenade, 10 minutes to the lanes. The staff (who own the B&B) are super, super, super friendly and accommodating and help out with any information you might need (info on best places to eat, visit, times etc.) There's... More

Wonderful people, lovely hotel. Free upgrade as had been before. Would have liked to have added breakfast on the 2nd time around as it was lovely a couple of years ago, booked the wrong option by accident. Great little spot and will happily recommend. X

We absolutely loved our stay at Five Hotel. We stayed in Room 9, which was a sea view room. The view was lovely, there was scaffolding on the property next door which blocked the view slightly but it couldn't be helped. The room was beautifully clean and modern with a very comfortable king sized bed and a compact bathroom but... More

My boyfriend and I struck gold with this B and B. We ended up without a room in Brighton on a Saturday night (being on a modest budget many of the other hotels were out our price range) and we were struggling to find somewhere to sleep. We walked in off the street and luckily they had a cancellation! We... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for just the night on Sunday 18th September. A small but lovely B&B right near the seafront. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host (Mr, we didn't meet Mrs until our check out) who was very polite and welcoming. Upon checking in we were given a map and a low-down of some places... More
