I have stayed at this hotel several times now, but this time was particularly good. I explained to the manager I needed a bright quiet room as I had a lot of work to do and he duly obliged. It was a large room with two sets of windows, which opened ( always a plus for me). The work space was really good and WiFi excellent. The bed was comfortable, room clean and good strong hot shower. A bonus for me is the fridge, I always make full use of a fridge. I will be back

Comfortable bed, large room in a quiet part of the hotel. Good breakfast with range of food. Disappointing that there was no scope to make cups of tea. Would have preferred a cheap electric kettle plus a few sachets of coffee or tea, as in most hotels. A minor point: it was great to have a hair dryer in the room, but there was no socket near a plug, making it hard to use effectively!

Our stay at Britannia Study Hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and approachable, the room was clean and reasonably priced, check in/check out was quick and easy. We arrived a few hours before check in and were allowed to go to our room early to store our luggage which was a nice surprise, when we got into the room we were taken aback by how clean and well laid out it was. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the facilities good. Overall, the room was fantastic, the location is perfectly central and the value for money is great. However, outside of our window was some sort of ventilation/cooling unit which was incredibly loud and came on intermittently all day and night, and was loud even with the windows shut. Lack of AC in the middle of June did not help the situation as we needed the windows open through the night. A stand-fan was provided but we were unsure about leaving it on through the night. Facilities in the room were good, sockets by the beds is always good and a desk and chair were provided. However, the chair was stained and so we decided not to use it. This is the only place where the cleanliness slipped.

01:38am Fridge periodically turning on/off, cycles of around 20 minutes Thin walls, can hear most of what's going on in adjacent rooms unwillingly What sounds like hand dryers whirring downstairs regularly Unfortunately got given room next to stairs - traffic coming in/conversations as people arrive back I'd love to say you get what you pay for - but I payed to sleep here, and it doesn't look like that will be physically possible Maybe things will quiet down later on this morning? If not, I plan to head down to the beach, walk headlong into the sea and let the waves take me gently under

Well located property, friendly and very helpful reception staff. My room was spacious and comfortable, even if the bed and mattress were too short for me. Fridge was a bit too noisy. Breakfast was served at the cafe on the first floor and food&beverage choices were broad. Scrambled eggs were just perfectly made. Bacon quality not one of the best. There is a safe storage room for luggages and the common hall has really comfy sofas.
