Very old fashioned Very dirty and had an unpleasant smell as you walk in right next door to a youth hostel where they were all messing about around the hotel we refused to stay went to find another hotel very disappointed feel like I have wasted £1500 because I had to pay again to stay somewhere else or forfeit my...

Just a short walk away from the train station, and steps away from the seafront, Leona house is in the perfect location. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights, the owner was friendly and helpful, recommending where to go for live music etc. The room itself was really well decorated, just enough space, and very clean. We didn't book...

Just spent 2 nights at the Leona with my girlfriend and thought it was excellent. Rooms very clean and tidy, bathroom also clean, tidy with shower gel and a bottle of Tresemme shampoo all ready to use. Location is literally perfect, very central, 50 yards from the seafront, 2 minutes from the Lanes and 2 minutes from the High Street....

We stayed for two nights at the Leona House and we loved it! Before arriving, Paul rang us to check if we were okay with directions which was lovely. Once we had arrived we ordered our Breakfast for the next day - a pot of tea was on the table as soon as we sat down & the breakfast was...

This was my second stay at Paul and Hazel's welcoming guesthouse and, as ever, it was most enjoyable. A great location right by the sea front and an excellent breakfast. Looking forward to another visit at some point.

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. Lovely family run plaace with attentive hosts and amazing breakfast. No parking, but was advised of a nearby car park that was in walking distance and was good value for money. Location of b & b is incredible, short walk to beach/pier. Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly reccommended! Thanks!

My partner and I have just returned from a 2-night stay. We booked our accommodation at the last minute without knowing much about our choice but we were pleasantly surprised. Great location, helpful owner, nice - if bijou - room and lovely breakfast both days, served at a time that suited us. We stayed in a room with a shared...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Leona House could hardly be closer to the seafront and main attractions. Unfortunately the weather was not great during our visit but the compensation was that the bed was so comfortable, it made staying indoors a pleasure too! The breakfast was excellent quality and cooked to order at the time you wanted (up to...

After seeing some of the reviews on here, I was a bit anxious about my trip to Leona House. All I can say is that the people complaining must have been staying somewhere else! The room was lovely, the hosts were friendly and welcoming and the noise from the nightclubs did not disturb my sleep. I would definitely stay here...

“Get a room at the back. Unless you are a heavy sleeper. Or the bars opposite are closed - and then a room at the front would be fine!”
