Having been impressed by previous reviews before our stay we knew to expect something special, sure enough our expectations were met. In fact they were superseded, firstly by the hospitality, a level of service you'd never get from your 'every town' hotel. Our fears about parking (being in the heart of it and all that) were soon allayed when Kieran...

The Griffin is in an excellent location. Five minutes from the seafront, handy for the Lanes and North Laines. Stylish individual rooms, comfy beds/pillows. Conservatory with complimentary tea, coffee, lovely biscuits, water available at all times. Very effective fans in the rooms, double glazing and constant hot water. Kieran is lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Booked the room with the whirlpool tub with my partner and had a lovely staycation! It's in a great location close to the city center and you can easily walk to the beach or the shopping districts. Head over to lush to get some bath bombs to really get the night going! Loved that we could watch the TV while...

Wow can I just say this hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel run by the nicest people you could meet. The room we stayed in had a four poster and a jacuzzi bath at the end of it. Ideally located a short walk from the big wheel and the pier. With the main shopping just 5 mins further. A must...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights as part of our mini-honeymoon. The owners were very friendly on arrival and welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco. The room itself was perfect, very large with whirlpool bath and four-poster bed. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the free wifi was also good. Our...

This was our second visit to The Griffin. Loved it both times. Didnt have breakfast the first time but it was definitely worth it as it was lovely. Great sized rooms and luxury bed and bath. Only minor criticism would be that the door to the toilet didnt lock ( or even close shut) so you have to pee infront...

We had an excellent one night stay at Griffin. The owners were friendly and chatty from arrival and let us access our room early. Location is perfect to access the main areas of Brighton, just a few minutes from the pier and shopping lanes. We stayed in room 8 right at the top. It was cosy, warm and the bed...

Great hosts, excellent location, beautiful rooms and breakfast to die for. Top room 8 definitely has the wow factor. Bed very comfortable and nice linen. We slept well in spite of a warning that there might be noise; "it is in the party area". Also, yes, you can hear other guests but not enough to concern. There are some fabulous...
