Me and my partner had travelled up to Brighton for the weekend and he planned to propose, he spoke to the reception team and they made our room amazing, rose petals on the bed, complementary wine & Prosecco & made our stay the most memorable it could have been with 10/10 service. The staff were absolutely lovely but I would especially like to thank Karen and Chloe for going the extra mile!
Had a great stay from start to finish ! Was welcomed by the receptionist, Chloe who was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful . We were able to leave our bags ahead of check in which was a bonus . The hotel Is clean . Breakfast was lovely . Had a great stay . Will definitely return but cannot stress just how welcome Chloe made us feel. Thanks
Karen was very helpful even though she was handling the reception alone she still helped us with great knowledge. I understand it can sometimes get quite busy but she handled it very professionally and assisted well
I highly recommend this hotel. Great location next to Brighton station Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Fantastic music. A very nice 60s vibe. Beautiful decor. The rooms are cosy and the welcome water and cookies were much appreciated. We were here only 1 night for my daughter's 33rd birthday. What a treat! Thank you Alex for making my daughter's birthday such a memorable day!!
I've stayed at this hotel many times when it was the Jury's Inn and this was my second visit since it changed to the Leonardo. I dropped my bags off and checked in and went to park my car elsewhere because I was unprepared to pay the £25/day parking fees. I dropped my bag off in room 151 and lifted the toilet seat to be confronted by a horrific display of human excrement. It was in the bowl, on the bowl and under the seat. Clearly the toilet had not been cleaned. I returned to reception where they promised to have it cleaned before I returned from parking my car. An hour later I returned to reception where I was presented with a free drink coupon and they proudly announced the toilet had been cleaned. I went back to the room, to find the toilet was still not cleaned and in close inspection of the rest of the room, I found juice and tea stains on all the counter tops. At this point, I returned to reception and asked to be changed to a different room. I was moved to 310, where for the first 2 days, I endured only 5 tv channels whilst all the other channels said "weak signal". I called reception to have the TV fixed, a man came, said it was fixed and it wasn't. The next day, I washed my hands and found the hand towel had dried, crusty bodily fluids on it. At this point, I was truly disgusted! Breakfast was included and quite frankly wasn't worth the money. On two occasions I had to ask for English breakfast tea and the eggs had sat out long enough and were cold. Since becoming the Leonardo Hotel, the service has deteriorated and the hotel even more shabby than it was before. They have resorted to soap dispensers in the bathroom and shower. There was only one elevator working the entire time I was there. The thread bare carpet in front of the elevator on the first floor, has a hole in it approximately 1 metre wide. This was my last visit to this hotel.…
Great service from Chloe on reception throughout our stay. She was very friendly and welcoming. Room was great. Really well positioned hotel to explore Brighton. Everything within walking distance. Would definitely stay there in the future.
A very lovely stay at the hotel. For a superior room, it was a little tired but a powerful shower and comfortable bed. The main plus points about this hotel are the staff. Absolutely fantastic. Chloe on the front desk, such a genuinely lovely person. So helpful. The staff at breakfast went beyond to help us, we got the timings wrong on breakfast and they did all they could to ensure we were well fed. Great location. We will visit again.
Great hotel great service minded staff, made to feel totally at ease from the word go, good location etc. We have been several times to Brighton and this was the best stay so far. Chloe was especially very helpful and fantastic to deal with A+++
Warm and welcoming hotel with lovely staff. We had a a nice stay in Brighton at this hotel. The rooms are very comfy, but bathrooms could do with an upgrade. The breakfast service was great. Served us vegetarian sausages on request. Great selection of bakery specialties available. The staff who runs the breakfast takes great care to serve great food despite it can get really busy. The food served at the Oddsocks Cafe is also great with a good variety and value for money. There is also room service. The train station is just a few yards away and the city centre is about 15 minutes walking distance with Brighton pier in another 10 minutes. Parking at the station car park is not too bad however the car park can get busy at certain times. Overall, it is a really good hotel and is great value for money. Thank you.…
Rooms adequately cleaned; front reception staff helpful and bed comfortable. We were happy to see a USB plug in the room but less happy that it didn't work. Same for heating control which didn't work either and wasn't repaired over our entire 8 day stay; (the control instructions were for a different model of AC) . Fortuitously reception provided a small electric space heater which was ideal for drying our washing! With the new (?) management the hotel really needs a fairly comprehensive makeover because its current standards don't match the price; i.e poor value for money.
