We arrived for a quick overnight visit for the Hastings Half Marathon. The restaurant was closed on the Saturday night, and despite advertising that wifi was available, it didn't work in our rooms (nor our friends' room who were also staying there). I sat in the 'cocktail bar' area to check out some work on my laptop and still found...

So my partner and our friend booked two rooms within the hotel for a quick one night stay because we were meeting friends for dinner in Hastings. We travelled down from Scotland and arrived around lunchtime. Once we checked in, we descended into a dark corridor to our room. We were told that this was 'a working process' and that...

We would like to thank Eagle House Hotel for hosting our daughters 18th birthday party last Friday evening. We had the entire use of their stunning restaurant, bar and reception area. Food was delicious, served in an opulent setting and all their staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! All our family and friends has an amazing...

We stayed in the family room of this modern hotel the last two nights. First of all, there was parking outside the hotel which was very useful. The decor inside is rather extraordinary in its colour and interesting detail! more like a cocktail bar! Upstairs, it is rather dated but comfortable and we were in the family room which was...

Can absolutely recommend this hotel, they were able to accomodate us at the last minute and we didn't regret our decision. The room was clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were very helpful. We had planned to eat in the hotel one night but the kitchen was unexpectedly shut so the duty manager was more...

We booked two rooms for my daughter and I . Customer service was very good The front reception bar lounge and restaurant area decors were outstanding design and clean : wow ! The walk from the refurbished area into the bedrooms was a shock ! Two different contrasts in both locations. The issue is the old scratched and worn bedroom...

Entrance, bar area and dinning room lovely. Descending down stairs to our room the hotel became dark and dank. We had been allocated room 3, which although decorated in white was dull, dark and dingy. The furniture was old knocked about and mismatched and the room smelt moldy and stale. The bathroom was very shabby with mold growing in the...

We booked months in advance for 1066 battle of Hastings weekend and our room was in the extension side of hotel. Large room overlooking carpark, was clean but disappointed with the bathroom. Door didn't close properly, mould on shower head & round taps. Breakfast cooked nice. Good location for train station to go into Battle or Hastings. Price of room...

Lovely hotel friendly staff and really nice breakfast. Only downside the room we stayed in was a bit dated other than that a lovely couple of nights away by the sea. Dinner menu looked lovely but the nights we were there it was closed due to staff issues but there are lots of restaurants nearby.
