we stayed for 3 nights, manager friendly, amazing dining area as it has just been refurbished, we had a lovely veranda that opened from French doors, room was very basic no bedside lamps but because we had veranda it made up for it. We ate at the hotel one night food was excellent even though the chef did not turn... More

Stayed for 1 night 26th July. Shown to room on arival by nice lady, friendly and chatty. Believe she must be owner/manager. Room stayed on top floor overlooking garden area - 1 double and 1 single bed, ensuite, large room with nice old fashioned wardrobe and antique looking furniture. Bed - very comfy, good night sleep, quiet. TV - on... More

Rooms were clean enough. Very Nice size. Plenty of room very relaxed atmosphere. The decoration was a little quirky but think they are in the process of up dating. The breakfast was good. Would visit again. Parking but not lots so had to park on road outside.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. However it is in dire need of an update. The bathroom floor tiles are cracked and precarious in places. The bed very creaky, so not a good night's sleep. Breakfast was freshly cooked and more than adequate

We stayed for a night at the Eagle House Hotel, and were somewhat satisfied. Positive: the room was quite large, bathroom nice and modern, it has free parking for guests, and a wonderful breakfast. Not so great: rooms 1-5 are in the basement level - with no elevator ("it's a Victorian home"), there's no WiFi in the rooms (only in... More

This hotel must once have been a large elegant period house in the St Leonards district of Hastings. There are many delightful large properties in the area, but most are sadly very run down and probably divided into bedsits. Eagle House looks good from the exterior, with its two ‘golden eagles’ perched impressively above the front door. However, any period... More

Meet up weekend with friends, so we decided to book Eagle House hotel . Must say this was not our first choice! Most of the other hotels were booked up for the weekend. Eagle house only had family room available. Greeted with a warm welcome, had to pay up front upon arrival; no problem with this, also notice at front... More

Uniformly helpful staff. Pleasant room with large well equipped bathroom. Made efforts with breakfast for vegetarians. Only a short walk to the sea too. Value for money. Newly refurbished bar was welcome.
