We had a lovely room overlooking the seashore with sunshine from morning to evening. all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bar was excellent with four Real Sussex Ales to chose from. We entertained some local family members and we all had an excellent time including their little dog. A good place to stay in Hastings with the...

This hotel is in urgent need of a total re-vamp. It has dull decor which now looks rather shabby and leaves you with the impression of somewhere which feels tired and loveless. The room, although a decent size, reflected this. Poorly lit, it just wasn't a place you wanted to spend time in and the bed was uncomfortable. When we...

Really friendly people who valued our stay. comfortable, warm and welcoming. The aim of the staff was to see to your needs in the most positive and inviting way. Nothing was too much trouble. it was great to be somewhere too that positively welcomed our dog. the place was heaving with dogs. brilliant.

The hotel was great and our room was clean and comfortable. This was made more enjoyable as our room had a view of the sea. The terrace looked although we did not use it as it was cold. We could not fault the excellent , accommodating friendly staff. As vegetarians we enjoyed the options and flexibility offered. We enjoy walking...

The White Rock Hotel is beautifully situated on the seafront so it's worth booking a room with a view of the beach & pier. Our room was reasonably priced, large, bright & clean with flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a lovely bathroom & an amazing outlook. All the staff we had dealings with were so friendly & helpful. Breakfast...

Stayed for one night. The hotel is in major need of redecoration the corridors and carpets are dreadful. I parked in the rear car park and gained entrance into the hotel from there, it really wasn't a very good first impression at all. The room was ok but I was glad I was only staying the one evening and will...

Arriving via the very compact carpark for the first time is somewhat disconcerting as the entrance is a scruffy looking door and a covered steel walkway, two floors above the reception desk. i would not like to be in my room either in very hot weather or very cold as both heating and cooling were via a noisy mobile unit,...

We stayed here for a week in October, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, Louise, on reception when we arrived, in particular. The cafe bar on the ground floor is a very pleasant place to eat or just have a drink. The hotel is a short walk to the town centre and Old Town, there are...
