We passed here on the way to our hotel on a previous trip to Bibury and thought when we returned we would pay The Catherine Wheel a visit. We decided that we would pop in for lunch before checking in at our hotel. The waitress was extremely friendly and gave us a choice of where to sit. The bar area...

I stayed two nights in Bibury, because it was a good centre for exploring the Cotswolds. It's also one of the prettiest village in England. Leave your vehicle at the Catherine Wheel, which is at one end, and walk into the town centre which in itself is an exceptional beauty spot, And make sure you check out the gift shop...

Nice bed, modern facilities/toilet, cable TV. Even feels pretty cozy. Free parking available. The restaurant is just across the entrance of the carpark. We stayed in Bibury for 2 nights as a base for driving around Cotswold. On retrospect, after touring the area, I would have chosen to stay in Bourton-on-the-water.

I had the trout and the flavours were amazing, and my husband had a medium-rare sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by scrumptious chips. He had sticky toffee for pud and I had chocolate brownie - mine was very good, but...

My friend and I have been here before in the summer and sat in the gardens which are beautiful. Back then we enjoyed the Catherine Wheels special burger. Coming back we sat in the restaurant, JP had the Gloucester sausage which I tried....very tasty, I had the chicken and whilst the sauce was a little runny the potato hard and...

A special meal to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Booked a table in advance and was treated to a wonderful meal. Attentive pleasant waitresses who had the blend of paying attention just right. Starters and mains both exceeded our expectations and were well cooked, well presented and very reasonably priced. A place to return to again.
