Andrea, receptionist at the front desk, is so friendly and full of information. She took us to the coach house (which is annexed to the hotel) and showed us our room. It was fairly spacious and very clean. It did have a very strong smell (not unpleasant, just strong) which I later realized was one of those plug-in room fresheners....

Warm welcome from Andrea on arrival which was followed by friendly, smiling staff throughout our stay. As a large group we occupied most of the hotel and found the location and facilities ideal for our needs, close to resteraunts and pubs for our evening entertainment in the village. Our room was clean and comfortable located in the front of the...

Very friendly hotel, right in the heart of the lovely Bourton on the Water. Excellent room and car parking . Choice of two restaurants in the hotel. Excellent breakfast and great customer service. Nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here for two nights but unfortunately were greeted throughout the day and night with the pump next to our room going off every 10 seconds. Beautiful hotel...breakfast fine although the orange isn't fresh juice and the tea mugs tasted of some product from the dishwasher. We've complained about the lack of an iron in our room and I...

We stayed at the Chester House Hotel in Bourton-on-the-Water as our base to explore the Northern Cotswolds region. Bourton is a very beautiful village with a lovely vibe and relaxing feel and we thouroughly enjoyed it and recommend it as a base for the Cotswolds. Bourton is just off the main A road and provides good access to a number...

Location is really good. However, the room is quite old, though it is big. We can feel the dust in our bed. Anyway, breakfast is so impresses same as all the staff there :) Hotel has car park which is very useful for traveler

Can hardly believe one review on this page. The hotel is definitely not an imposter. The hotel is very good, rather quaint with shabby chic furniture. We had booked 3 rooms, one double in the hotel and 2 doubles in the courtyard. All were spotlessly clean and kept that way over the 3 days we stayed. There was a small...

Fantastic location with easy access to restaurants and shops. Staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I don't think we had the best room in the hotel. We stayed in a room which is above bar area and therefore could hear music until closing time. Rooms are in quite close proximity in this part of the hotel and we could hear...

Absolutely adored this hotel. We rented the family en suite and were very happy with it. We ate at their Italian restaurant on site and it was delicious. We also had their breakfast in the morning which was nice. Andrea was so sweet and lovely to chat with about England. Very sweet people here.
