We came to rest and recuperate and it worked. The staff in this pub are the best - all of them. Polite, helpful, friendly. The room was small, but had everything we needed and it all worked and was clean. The food was hearty and well cooked - both breakfast and evening meal. .Prices are very reasonable - and winter...

We stay in Bourton every year and always look forward to meals and drinks at The Duke. This year was no exception, but had the Best Meal Ever on our last night. Thank you Hannah and all the staff for not only a great family party earlier in the week, but a superb send off meal! Look forward to seeing...

A very small room but a really lovely bed and bedding and slept well! Although recently refurbished was still in need of more work but this didn't affect our stay. Food very good and reasonably priced and breakfast great, although not much choice of cereals (3) and juice (1). Staff amazingly friendly and nothing too much work. We would stay...

We booked this hotel mainly because of the details on the website which we now know were misleading. Whilst we knew that the bedrooms were described as 'bijou' we expected them to have been 'recently refurbished' as described, so we thought two nights in a smallish room would be o.k. The two rooms we booked (two couples) were indeed small...

We had a very nice meal here when we stayed at Burton on the water. The food was very good, the beer was cold and the staff were very friendly. They were also able to cater for a gluten free diet. Well worth a visit and well priced.

We always have a meal here when visiting Bourton on The Water - which we do often as we have family in the area. Lovely food and very friendly efficient service. We had the 2 for £10 off the menu, very tasty and well presented. Always busy here but nothing too much trouble for the staff, especially the lovely Hannah,...

Stopped here today for lunch with our cocker spaniel, the staff made such a fuss of him and made us all feel very welcome. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely be back.

Made a booking for 14 people just a few hours before we wanted to be seated. We had tried to book a couple of other pubs we had walked past fast and I'm so glad they weren't available or we wouldn't have had the pleasure of this place. We were greeted by a very friendly and efficient waitress who told...
