Although we didn't actually spend too much time at the battledown, from our brief stay it is clear that it is conveniently located with friendly owners, comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast. We would certainly return and can recommend to others.

It was my first trip to Cheltenham and I couldn't have been more impressed. Battledown is excellent. Every detail in the room was perfect as was the breakfast. My friend and I we're given a very warm welcome. I was also very impressed with Cheltenham, shall definitely be making a return journey.

Recently stayed at the Battledown for a second time. It is beautifully run by Sarah and her family. The rooms are lovely and well appointed and the food is great. No wonder it is so full. I have no hesitation in recommending the Battledown.

A friend joined me on this visit to my family in Cheltenham and, boy, was she impressed with The Battledown! No matter how much you extol the virtues of something, people have to experience for themselves to believe you. I love it that my Grandson refers the The Battledown as 'Granny's B&B'! Same brilliant welcome and service; same comfort and... More

They are stocked with fresh milk for tea and coffe but are also available for storing guest's items. This year I took a bottle of... More

We stayed in Chetlenham for the weekend to visit family and came across the Battledown. We are so glad we did, as it is an lovely place to stay, and reasonably priced. We arrived late on the Friday, due to horrendous traffic from London and we were greeted warmly by Simon who offered as cup of tea. As we wanted... More
