Absolutely fantastic stay with premier inn Cheltenham north west, my hotel was booked by my new employers, so I was here for training, the staff have made everything easy and they have been so friendly, kind caring, I have genuinely never had this before from a hotel, a special mention to Rebecca and Ella who were just amazing, so friendly and helpful, and also left me and my mum a little gift which was such a surprise! Thank you so much ☺️

I’m working here for a fair few weeks and I have been calling into the beefeater next door and the staff have been sound but I have to say that Amy has always gone above and beyond for us and made us feel when she’s on! We ordered a takeaway and we’re expecting g to take it to our rooms but Amy said we could eat it inside while watching the sport and even offered us plates. That is service to its to its T!! Thank you Amy for making us feel at home, absolute star team member!

The parking was ample for our stay and the overall service at the Reception and in the Beefeater next door was excellent. The location was ideal for all the places on our list to visit. The amenities were very good and we had complimentary breakfast vouchers for our stay there as we are regular customers of the Premier Inn and have stayed at several of their locations

Last minute bank holiday trip, booked as a family of 4. We stayed in room 9 on the ground floor, and the floor constantly creeked with every footstep which was annoying. There was no air con just a plug in standing fan luckily that helped abit but the room was so hot, the windows don’t open very wide and after a shower it made the room much worse. Double bed very comfy but my daughter was crying that the pull out bed was very hard, could feel every hard string in it. The bathroom shower curtain needs to be changed, it gave off a urine smell. Good that they give you soft and hard pillows to choose from, great size TV on the wall, we also took our Amazon fire stick and paid the £5 wifi charge for 24 hours. Hotel reception staff very friendly, good choice of food for breakfast, we paid the hot breakfast and the children ate for free. If planning on coming back to the area i would stay here again, they just need to improve with the creeky floorboards.

On the morning of 22 August I decided to make a cup of tea. I turned on the kettle and the electricity fused. The receptionist could not get into the fuse box as someone had gone off with the key!!! She did offer another room for a shower but we declined as we were leaving that morning. We then discovered that we could not have a hot breakfast because of technical reasons; this was sorted just before we left the restaurant having had a Continental breakfast [we had paid for a hot one].

Nice easy check in. Clean room. We had to sleep with the noisy fan on as it was a very hot night. Sadly no air con in the room just heaters. Oddly enough. There were only 2 teabags in a room for 3 people.

The hotel itself was OK. Nice shower, clean etc. There is no aircon but they did provide a small fan which helped - not much they can do about this crazy weather and the hotel staff were friendly enough. They need to rethink breakfast though as it was rubbish. Pastries were a bit stale, cooked breakfast was tasteless and a little cold. The staff clearly didn't want to be there. Let the place down really as it was alright otherwise.

The hotel was so noisy any sleep at at was impossible. The floors in the rooms and hallways creaked so loudly any time anyone moved in a room or hall it would wake everyone up. Guest Relations simply did not care. Go to a Travelodge instead!

Premier Inn it’s was fine. Breakfast or any booked meals through them is in the Beef Eater next door. We cancelled our planned breakfast as the place was filthy! We popped in for a drink on check in. You stick to the carpet and wooden floor, it is visibly dirty and it smells of stale beer/musty. To top it the outdoor space if littered with cigarette ends. We didn’t want to try the food based on that and cancelled our planned breakfast. Shame because the premier Inn is clean and fine.

The first impressions was that it looked good from the outside. The welcome was okay. The room appeared nice but then we switched on the light in the bathroom and the extractor fan sounded like something was taking off. Never heard such a din before. And the floors creaked unbelievably loudly. We were woken on our first night at 6am by the occupants above getting up and the floor creaking so loudly, I thought they’d come through the ceiling. Awful. The floors creaked in our room (room 7), the upstairs rooms, the rooms adjacent and the corridors outside our room. Other residents were unsociable and ignorant to people still sleeping at 07:30am. A flat bed truck parked right outside our window, the driver and passenger, talking loudly as they approached it (bearing in mind our window was open due to it being 26 degrees centigrade in our room), then starting their truck and leaving the damned engine idling for 5 minutes while they chatted loudly, with approximately 2 of those minutes with its reverse beeper going!!! Why?! So inconsiderate and selfish. I won’t be returning here because I don’t appreciate being woken at 6am by other occupants floor boards, nor do I wish I could shower in the dark having to shout to be heard over the extractor fan in there before I even turned the shower on. And no signs asking people to be quiet at earlier times of the day. Courtesy costs nothing.
