We only spent one night here whilst attending a wedding reception. Our room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. The proprietors Hannah and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. I would most certainly recommend The Old Bungalow.

This is one of those perfect guest houses that once discovered you do not want to forget about. The room and house was spotless, everything worked as it should and the breakfast spot on. The welcome was genuine and not overpowering. Felt very much at home.

The landlords were very welcoming and had menus of all the village restaurants for us to review when making dinner plans. When asked if they would avoid any places they gave an honest answer which I appreciated. We knew to skip the first place we came to ( which we would have selected because rain was in the forecast and...

My stay at the Old Bungalow (run by the Gary and Hannah Smith) was very pleasant. I had experienced a poor drive along the M4, so I was pleased the proprietors were welcoming and helpful. My room was clean, well appointed and recently decorated. I found the bed comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was very good. I was...

This was easily the best accommodation I had in the UK and compares very favourably with the best self contained places I've stayed in here in OZ. It was also the cheapest. Gary and Hannah are friendly and thoughtful hosts and made sure that I was provided with everything I needed. The guest house had everything including a dishwasher and...

We returned again to stay at the old bungalow, where Hannah & Gary give you a very warm welcome and make sure your stay is stress free. Our room was refurbished with new furniture & Décor which was a pleasant surprise. Can't really find anything to fault, it is very clean, easy to find, with good parking.

I have stayed here several times now and without fail have always been treated like a returning friend. The rooms are spacious and immaculately kept and the breakfast, tasty and generous. The location is a short, pleasant walk from the town centre. All round an excellent stay and very good value.

Great value, people, food and location. What more do you want? The couple who run the Old Bungalow make your stay everything that you would want. We keep going back because they look after us. A little gem.
